  • @BibleJesusChristian

Jesus was asked "what must I do to be saved" by the rich young man, Go and read His answer to the question.

Read Pauls answer also in Romans 2.

The idea that there is nothing we must do negates the reality of repentance as a pre requisite for salvation.

Acts 26:20 "...do works befitting repentance".

Grace activated by faith empowers us for obedience Rom 6:14 "sin shall not have dominion over you for you are not under the Law but under grace".

  • Ellen G White's guidance for the Last Days teaches us that we MUST TRUST IN THE LAW AND OUR SABBATH WORKS to be saved, to inherit eternal life, to avoid the coming final plagues, and to be accepted by God and to avoid the coming Mark of the Beast.

Is this the kind of end time guidance you want?

As for me, I resigned my SDA membership after 12 years and now completely trust in JESUS to save me, and I no longer trust in the LAW and SABBATH to save me!

Praise Jesus for setting me free!!!

  • @EvangelistEvan I do never think that that sabbath can save me, neither the law, but i just keep it not for salvation but because I simple Love Him!! God bless us all ^_^

  • @BibleJesusChristian FatTony Fat Tony FatTony, why are you asking the same questions over and over and over and over. I gave you honest answers to everything you asked, which you ignored then you jumped to someone else to try and ruin their day. Its getting a little bit old.

  • SDA members tell me that Ellen G White taught that the work that saves us has already been performed by Jesus and that we are saved by faith and grace alone, not by works, so answer this question for me please:

If a Christian has faith in Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, can they be accepted by God, avoid the coming Mark of the Beast, inherit eternal life, avoid getting the final plagues, and still saved by faith and grace alone, if they never perform SABBATH WORKS?

    Yes or No?

  • @EvangelistEvan You still at it FatTonyAU. Build a bridge....... Seriously!!!!

  • No matter what religion you're in or whatever beliefs you have... never judge other religions because God will not save one Religion... it's a matter of your personal relationship with Him....

  • @yonie31 so wat does the have have to do with dat. its just telling you all their mission. what is you all mission? do u all have one?hmmmmmmm

  • "Point one finger to others and you're pointing 4 fingers right back to you" All my friends has different beliefs and I never attack their religions... I love every religions... I only look up to one which is our God, the Creator.

  • Seventh-Day Adventists simply do what the Scriptures say to do. If the Bible says keep the Commandments, then they keep the Commandments, and dont try to find ways to get out of doing it. Its just that simple. Sinful human nature wants to hang onto sin, and tries to justify it.

  • SIMPLY OBEY JESUS. Matthew 19:17-19 "And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him...if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."

  • @BibleJesusChristian what a completely convoluted way to think that you have. The Bible says that if you do not keep the commandments then you are a liar, so you then say everyone is a liar. That is just ridiculous. John said that to point out that those who claim to be Christians but claim they dont have to keep the commandments are LIARS. Lets just leave it at that. And in my mind, there is no reason now to continue this conversation with you, You obviously just want to evade the commandments.

  • @BibleJesusChristian None of them. Go and watch "Changing the Word" by Professor Walter Veith on youtube and see why. I dont go by Jesuit translations. Im not going to the laundramat to 'wash my robes' Im keeping the commandments. Just as in Revelation 14:6-12 it says that the Saints are they that keep the commandments of God... not 'wash their robes'.

  • @BibleJesusChristian. All of the things I posted were directed at your questions that you asked Seventh-Day Adventists. God Bless.

  • @BibleJesusChristian You say we dont "do" anything to be saved 1Jn:3:14,15: "We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him." Rv:22:14: "Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city." there are HUNDREDS more verses.

  • The change of the Sabbath Day to Sunday is the Mark of the Beast, and that is why in Revelation 14:6-12 it says the SAINTS keep the Commandments OF GOD. Not the commandments of MEN. Mk:7:7: "Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." Thats how you worship Jesus, by keeping the Commandments. Making Him LORD of your life, by faith, through the power of the Holy Ghost, yielding yourself to HIM and not to sin.

  • Martin Luther, Protestant Reformer who taught about GRACE, said the Catholic Church was the Antichrist power who changed the SABBATH. "They allege the Sabbath changed into Sunday, the Lord's day, contrary to the Decalogue, as it appear, neither is there any example more boasted of than the changing of the Sabbath day. Great, they say, is the power and authority of the church, since it dispensed with one of the Ten Commandments." Martin Luther, Augsburg Confession of Faith, art. 28. continued

  • Now your third question. Those who do not keep the commandments OF GOD will get the Mark of the Beast. Rv 14:6-12. Daniel said the Antichrist power would CHANGE the law. Dan:7:25. “I hope that the last day is at the door. Things could not become worse than the Roman see makes it. It suppresses the commandments of God, it exalts its own commandments above God’s. If this is not Antichrist, then some one else must tell what it is.” - “Luther’s Reformatory Works,” p. 280. Copenhagen: 1883. continued

  • Are you starting to realize yet that you are the one who is confused? We just read that the Holy Ghost WASHES and RENEWS us. and that this isnt by "righteousness that we have done but according to His mercy". Our work? to YIELD to the workinds of the Spirit and not to sin. Rom:6:13: "Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God."

  • Now your 2nd question. YES we can be saved completely through faith in Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Jesus said "Why do you call Me LORD, but not do what I say?" Lord means He rules over us. He is "Author and Finisher of our FAITH" ...the true faith. Faith that works and keeps God's commandments. His Spirit cleanses us. We must submit. Ti:3:5: "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost"

  • @BibleJesusChristian Just going over your questions, it seems obvious to me that you dont understand what true FAITH is. "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." Rv 14:12. This faith of Jesus is the true faith that enabled Him and can enable us to overcome sin and keep the commandments. Heb, 9:14 "purge us from dead works to serve the living God". "Faith without works is dead, being alone." Saved by faith alone? YES true faith

  • I love you too!!!! And I love you all!!!! Thanks everyone for stopping by!!!!!

  • Bible Jesus Christian, You seem to have a "cult" aversion" Who are you to judge and decry other denominations of Christians? We do not need your vindictive advice and name calling opinions. God bless your poor soul, I shall pray for you.

  • I love you girls!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I eft my churh for a few months not straight but it seemed that way. I graduated from college an all my prayers answered. I felt terrible and i recently came back to hte Lord for nothing fills the void in my life but the Man upstairs..Great music God Bless

  • Its not what elen white says that matters, its what the bible says, and the bible says we are saved through faith.

  • Like it so much.... God bless us all!

  • @FatTonyAU read Matthew 5: 17-20 I will let JESUS answer that

  • Read John 3:16 ( it's too long to post) which explains, all u need is a relationship. It also says in Luke 11:4 basically that tithing and all these other things are not as important as loving and acting justly, and where does love come from? God, therefore when u have a relationship, then the rest comes... Hope I answered your qs a bit

  • Hey fatTonyAU, I've grown up in the sda church my whole life and I don't know if this helps you, but basically salvation and everything else comes down to a relationship with God and your willingness for him to take over. He does the rest. Therefore if u stop going to church or paying tithe, if u have a relationship, I believe u will be saved. Read (more in next post)

  • @FatTonyAU Tony, Tony, Tony u r so funny.... U r not even answering mine =D

  • @Thebluez84 I know he always does that

  • @FatTonyAU

    Read Matthew 7:3-5

I only have 1 question for ya: R u PERFECT enough?

    May God bless u!

  • @FatTonyAU

    Read Matthew 7:3-5

I only have 1 question for ya: R u PERFECT enough?

    May God bless u!

  • Eh you guys stop fighting against each other, if some want keep the sabath day let them. keep in mind that if we have to keep the sabath day, what about the sabatical year and the jubilee year? Are you keeping them also? Read your bible, don't just get stuck with your pastor but with an open heart find out what others are saying about keeping the sabath's day. Jesus is the master of the sabath, every day is a day of rest, there is no special day because He is with us everyday, that is sabath.

  • @FatTonyAU you are crazy and need to go to mental hospital.

  • FatTonyA, Are you nuts or illuminati, why are you so angry with SDA people, I noticed all your comments were copy paste form the other videos of SDA. God will forgive you.

  • @FatTonyAU

I never knew demons were fat.

  • @FatTonyAU

Are you just a hter? You seem to hog all vids pertaining to Adventists.

  • Google for "Bible truth versus Adventist truth" to read about what's wrong with Adventist doctrines.

    Quraan:

    (Surah-2-the cow-vs-40)

O children of Israel! Call to mind me favor which I bestowed

  • on you and be faithful to (your) covenant with me, I will fulfill (my) covenant with you; and of me, me alone, should you be afraid. 41- and believe in what I have revealed, verifying that which is with you, and be not the first to deny it, neither take a mean price in exchange for my communications; and me, me alone should your fear. 42- And do not mix up the truth with falsehood, nor hide the truth while you know (it).

  • 43- And keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate and bow down with those who bow down. 44- What! Do you enjoin men to be good and neglect your own souls while you read the book; have you then no sense? 45- And seek assistance through patience and prayer, and most surely it is a hard thing except for the humble ones, 46- who know that they shall meet their lord and that they shall return to him.

  • @FatTonyAU Ahhhh FatTonyAU you are funny...... You can't see the forest because of your tree.

  • @indimedia

And the shrubs and bushes as well.

  • @FatTonyAU I gave you the links, you said Adventists were satanic, that means me, because I'm an Adventist, at least three times you said I was lost in legalism, check the links (youtube does not link to specific comments)

Let me make this as clear as I can, EGW is not my leader, she helped start this awesome movement, I am a proud Adventist and there is no reason to hide. I am not running. I have answered your questions.

If you followed EGW for 10 years then you were not an Adventist.

  • @FatTonyAU Ummm I can't remember when I last wore a suit to church, actually yes I can, my grandfathers funeral 3 years ago and he was not a christian, I did that out of respect. What you say here is lies and rubbish. All Christians have been commissioned to spread the good news.

  • @FatTonyAU All I did was quote you, IWhen you call Adventism satanic you are calling its members including me satanic, you called me lost many times. I am not angry, I have no need for anger, nor am I revengeful, revenge is for the Lord (only). I will pray for you. All I have tried to do is answer your questions as you have asked but you accuse me of lying. Why would I lie?? I have no need to. I am PROUD of being an Adventist and will not hide it. I love my saviour and sleep in peace.

  • @indimedia C'mon now, don't expedite time with sinners and lost souls, after all, with a username like FatTonyAU, there is a remote chance this one is a lo-life with little else going on .. God's grace will be with His followers and He knows our hearts .. He is not fooled by outward appearance or rhetoric

  • @FatTonyAU

My dear friend, you really don't take the time to get to know people, do you? You are accusing people falsely. You have become so engrossed in accusations, that you can't even tell a like minded soul who is trying to share with them the love, mercy and grace of Jesus Christ.

You've accused me of this before, and I have repeatedly told you that I'm not SDA nor a follower of ellen White, but this seems to fall on ears that are set on accusing, rather than loving others.

  • @FatTonyAU And to also quote you here:

    youtube.com/watch?v=OIrugadxBpE

(deluded, lost, lost in legalism, in babylon, lying, brainwashed, deceived puppet, ignorant, uneducated,

  • @FatTonyAU To quote you, this is where you called me:

    In this thread:

(brainwashed, ignorant, uneducated, falsely accuse, call jesus a liar, rejected grace, liar, scared, rejected Jesus, deciever)

    youtube.com/watch?v=tOjTLNDrkOc

(liar, desperate, deceived, lost in legalism, do not love the truth, satanic, brainwashed, deluded, crazy, in babylon, frightened, cult member, not christian)

  • @FatTonyAU What on earth are you blabbering on about?????? Why would I be scared about my beliefs????? EGW is not the leader of the Adventist faith, Christ is the head. Get your facts straight.

  • @FatTonyAU I know what EGW teaches, i know what I believe in, YOU need to stop telling me what my personal theology is. I'm happy with my beliefs, I'm happy with the Adventist church's beliefs because I know that this is where God wants me.

  • @FatTonyAU That would be because I personally messaged it to you!!!!

  • @FatTonyAU Let me say again, do not tell me what my theology is, I know what it is, you do not.

ANSWER: A person is saved by having faith in Christ and accepting his grace (fullstop). There are many people who do not keep the commandments today that will be saved, but there will come a time (at the end) when people will publicly have to choose between man or god, part of this choice is to commit to God's commandments, if you do not choose God's way you will be lost. Thats what the bible says.

  • @FatTonyAU yawn

  • @FatTonyAU No I don't see the 10 commandments as a means to be saved, how can you tell me what MY theology is. I don't believe in Sabbath works, I believe in Sabbath experience, a time to strengthen my relationship with my saviour.

You do not know my theology, so please stop 'telling' me what I believe. Also (In your words) you should be ashamed of yourself for teaching such evil things about people who love Jesus and have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

  • @indimedia

I know what you mean. What one person thinks something means, another thinks something different.

I'm referring to the teaching that christ passed througn the veil in 1844 and entered into the most holy place beginning the second phase of his atoning work.

  • @FatTonyAU Do you think the 10 commandments are relevant today? YES OR NO

  • @FatTonyAU I never followed EGW, I have only followed Christ and Christ alone. I have answered your questions directly. Here I go again. THE BIBLE states that at the end of time everyone will have to make a choice between Gods way and Mans way (inspired by the devil), mans way is termed the "Mark of the Beast". God's way asks you to keep his commandments (this is not works, it is done because of love), mans way says the commandments are no longer relevant. If you choose mans way you will be lost

  • @indimedia

Do you believe in the doctrine of 1844?

  • @Myhopeisinhim What do you think that doctrine is and then I will respond. I am sick of people in these channels using the same term but meaning two completely different things.

  • @FatTonyAU I have answered that plainly and clearly but you don't want to publicly admit it.

  • @FatTonyAU Adventists don't teach that. I have certainty that I am saved as an adventist because I have faith.

  • @FatTonyAU This is a quote from the OFFICIAL Adventist documented fundamental beliefs:

A - Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as their only creed.

B - On Ellen G White: (her writings) provide for the church comfort, guidance, instruction, and correction. They (her writings) also make clear that the Bible is the standard by which all teaching and experience must be tested.

Adventists do not follow EGW - the bible is our ONLY CREED.

  • @FatTonyAU These are the things you have called me, a liar, rotten, legalistic, self-righteous, demon inspired, a sinner, commandment breaker, ignorant, uneducated, not a christian, ignorant false teacher, cowardly, deluded, satanic and the list goes on. WHO did you say is judgemental?

I REPEAT AGAIN - Adventists believe in SALVATION by FAITH through the GRACE of JESUS. You trying to claim otherwise is false.

  • @FatTonyAU I REPEAT AGAIN, this question has been answered but you refuse to accept it. You also refuse to answer any of my questions. You are here only to disrupt and to try and trap people into a falsely formed question. I remember a snake in the garden who asked these types of questions.

  • I don't judge other people for what they believe... who am I to throw the stones to others when I should watch myself first...stealing a lot of money and stealing a penny are both the same... I respect everyone's beliefs... Matthew 7:1 has always been my favorite text from the bible.... no one is better than the other...God created everyone equally.... Who are we to judge others? Life is beautiful without fighting... forget about the hatred.... move on and look at the possitive side of life...

  • @yonie31 Could I get the chords you were playing for this song, so I can play with my youth group? BTW, loved the song......BLESSINGS

  • I guess it comes down to do you really have faith in Christ if you are not keeping his law or doing what he says to do?

  • The bible says in acts that you must repent and be baptized for the remission of sins. John 3 says That if you believe in Christ you will have everlasting life. Jesus said if you Love me you will keep my Commandments. Do we keep the law to be saved No! Romans says by no work of the law shall we be justified. Do we keep the law because we are saved Yes! John 8:31 says truly truly i tell you anyone who keeps my commandment shall not see death. We are not daemons thats funny.

  • Yonie, please forgive Tony and me for clogging your message board and I thank you for your patience, and hey, look at those hits, over 69,000. Your song is now my whistle-while-I-drive-in-my-car song. Got it in my head and love it. Thank you and God bless.

  • @FatTonyAU My friend, all I can say is that everything you have said about Seventh-day Adventist belief regarding personal salvation is false. I have no clue where you picked this up but it was not from the Adventist church. If you have run into people who teach such doctrine I'm sorry. They are tares among the wheat and will only be sorted out when Christ returns. I think it would be useless for me to continue. I really am praying for you.

  • @FatTonyAU My friend, I don’t know what else to say. I am praying for you. I would appreciate the same favor.

  • @FatTonyAU The GC of 1888 was wrecked by people. Incidentally, Sister Ellen came down on the side of the two major dissenters who took the stand for “righteousness by faith.” Although we as a church have grown and learned from that experience there are still people who think righteousness by faith is too easy. I’m sorry for them and I’m sorry that you have evidently had an encounter of the worst kind. The SDA church is strongly in the faith corner today.

  • @FatTonyAU Tony, I apologize for taking so long to get back but your negation of Rev. 22:14 with the NIV and the revelation that you are a fellow commandment keeper has for some reason pulled the rug out from under me. I am not familiar with the various versions and it baffles me that, to you, my commandment keeping is vile while yours is noble. I assure you that your motives and mine are the same. People have always been our worst enemy.

  • @FatTonyAU My friend, this is great! We're actually communicating now! Praise the Lord. I'll be back.

  • @FatTonyAU "1. Do you believe Rev 22:14 refers to the 10 Commandments?" I do, my friend. What do you think?

  • @FatTonyAU "Galatians 5:4 You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace." Let's have a 2nd reading from the pen of my sister Ellen. "God saves man through the blood of Crhist alone, and man's belief in, and allegiance to, Christ is salvation." SoT, 12/20/1889. That's the "Adventist belief" and I've never heard another preached. My friend, you should have noticed that I have not said "Hmmm" or "don't know."

  • @FatTonyAU " Do you believe you will be lost if you were to attend Church on Sundays and not on Sabbath for the rest of your life? YES OR NO?" Tony, I actually answered this question previously. Please refer to 2 Peter 21. For me it would be sin. Peter actually tells me in the next verse that it would be like a dog returning to his vomit. I know that's gross but I didn't write the book. (sorry for the repeat. Just wanted to include the question)

  • @FatTonyAU I actually answered this question previously. Please refer to 2 Peter 2:21. For me it would be sin. Peter actually tells me in the next verse that it would be like a dog returning to his vomit. I know that's gross but I didn't write the book.

  • Comment removed

  • @FatTonyAU I am a sinner, Tony. I am guilty. In my guilt, I throw myself on the mercy of the Court. My Lawyer (Jesus) says to the Judge, "Father, I claim responsibility for this defendant and ask You to exchange my perfect life for his sinful one." What a Lawyer! Through my faith and God's Amazing Grace, he now looks at me through Christ's robe of Righteousness, and sees me not as the sinner that I once was, but as sinless I don't understand it but I really love Him for it. He loves you, Tony.

  • @FatTonyAU The third quote is not about "perfection" as much as it is about "conversion." Conversion is having ones character changed from a sinful earthly character to the character of Christ. This happens over a period of time as Christ works within you. It is said that sanctification (growth in Christ) is the work of a lifetime. First Justification, then Sanctification (conversion), then Glorification (perfection) when we recieve our new bodies.

  • @FatTonyAU My friend, Tony, These quotes have nothing whatsover to do with "perfectionism." And, yes, I believe what she is saying in these to be true. Have you stopped sinning, Tony? "Sin is trangression of the Law" 1 John 3:4. Are you still having trouble with maybe God's sixth commandment forbidding murder? Probably not. How about the seventh? Adultery. Probably not. You cannot expect Jesus to come into your heart while you are engaged in open and rebellious sin.

  • @FatTonyAU My friend, I have not run away from you, I am answering your questions (although I'm not sure that you're reading my answers), and I would certainly not insult you. God bless.

  • @FatTonyAU Tony, you never did answer yes/no to my question to you. I assure you that my answers to you have been as honest as my old heart can make them. I really believe that spiritual truths such as we have been discussing should be dealt with in something better than a yes/no format. It also seems that you are not reading my posts. At least please read my #4 in reply to your #4. By the way, good morning, and I pray that you will have a Spirit-filled day. Your friend.

  • My Friend Tony, first I want to thank you. I've been kind of dragging lately. I have thoroughly enjoyed these conversations. They have rejuvenated my morning Bible study. I have sincerely attempted to deal with your yes/no questions with more subtantial answers. I don't understand why you keep repeating the same questions. Are you reading my posts?. "Sabbath works" is your term. I personally take the day off to spend quality time with my Best Friend. Re. your repeated question, see #4.

  • 4. I believe for me it would be sin. “For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than after they have known it, to turn from the holy Commandment unto them.” 2 Pet. 2:21. I believe that for me to “turn from the holy commandment” would be grievous sin & if I persisted stubbornly, I believe if it would be blasphemy against the Holy Ghost. See also James 4:17 & Luke 12:47. See, some don't know better; I do. It's not a yes/no thing. I didn't write the book.

  • 3. Sadly I can take it from myself. Through my walk with the Holy Spirit, I hope to grow in grace and in truth (John 16:13). This growth is called sanctification. It is the work of the Spirit in my life as I grow closer to Christ. I choose this way of life. I am also free to reject it. If I am led by the Spirit to truth & reject it I am in serious danger. Paul told me to “grieve not the Holy Spirit” (Eph. 4:30). Jesus said all sin can be forgiven except rejection of the Holy Spirit. (Mt. 12:31)

  • @FatTonyAU 2. I believe a “robe of righteousness” was given me by Christ (Luke 15:22), through which God sees me as sinless. This is called undeserved grace. Jesus knows that I live in a sinful world, that my enemy is out to trip me up, & should I fall, He does not jerk the robe from me. The Holy Spirit helps me up, points me once more in the right direction & I continue in my walk with Him. I am saved through grace. No man, no angel, no one can take that from me.

  • 1. I believe that when I came to Christ and said “I believe; Lord save me,” I was justified the minute the words were out of my mouth. “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.” Acts 16:31. At that moment although I was still a sinner “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” “My righteousness is as filthy rags.” I was accepted as righteous by the Father through the Son’s intervention on my behalf.

  • @FatTonyAU Please answer yes/no to my last question.

  • @FatTonyAU Are you asking me is that if I ceased communing with God on the day He asks me to (righteousness by faith/doing it the way God desires) and began attempting to commune with Him on a man-made traditional counterfeit Sabbath (righteousness by works/doing it the way I desire), could I be saved by faith?

  • @FatTonyAU My church's doctrine in this matter (and yes I am positive) is that the Holy Spirit "strives with every man." (Gen. 6:3) including those in heathen lands. Some humanists call this your "conscience." If that person responds to this "still small voice" in a positive way and lives a moral life as he understands it, never having even heard the name of Jesus, it is our belief that he will be resurrected with the righteous and angels will teach him the plan of salvation on our trip home.

  • @FatTonyAU Not sure what SDA's you're hanging with. I'm going to share something strange with you. I was raised Presbyterian (17 years), afterward attended Methodist (MYF member), & Baptist. Was actually told by a fellow Baptist that only Baptists would be in heaven. I was dismayed. I had known some good people in Vietnam I asked "what about people in VN who were born, grew up, lived a godly life, & died yet never heard of Jesus." He said that they would burn in hell. SDA's do NOT believe that.

  • @FatTonyAU Tony, I think the woman caught in adultery was Mary Magdalene. Jesus saved her from death (as He has saved you and me from death). I believe when she left she made it her first priority to stop her whoring ways & did. I believe this Mary was the sister of Martha and Lazarus. She gave her heart to Christ & became one of his most faithful disciples. When his friends deserted, she was faithful to the cross. Her sin was adultery. I believe she, for love of Him, did quit.

  • @FatTonyAU Tony, re. EGW's "we must stop sinning." Please read the entire article, not just the snippet on the anti-EGW sites. She was writing about massive iniquity, open sin, in our country at that time. Like today's American fetish for all things Hollywood. The "stars'" open and flagrant sin is proclaimed on magazine covers and headlines. If EGW were alive today, she would point her fingers at America and say "you must stop sinning." Those engaged in open sin do not deserve our respect.

  • @FatTonyAU Tony, I'm not sure you are listening to me. If you are truly searching, you probably should get out of this yes/no thing. Matters of any spiritual depth cannot usually be answered with yes/no. I look at myself and see a sinner (For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God) but I have given my heart to Jesus, I have faith in His atoning blood, He has wrapped me in a "robe of righteousness," therefore, when God looks at me, He sees a righteous person, not a sinner.

  • nice song

    i luv it

  • @FatTonyAU "In order to let Jesus into our hearts, we must stop sinning. The only definition for sin that we have in the Bible is that it is the transgression of the law. The law is far-reaching in its claims, and we must bring our hearts into harmony with it." EGW. When Jesus saved the woman caught in adultery, was she truly saved? Yes. Did Jesus want a fuller relationship with her? Yes. Did he want her to give her heart to him? Yes. What did he tell her to do? "Go and sin no more."

  • @FatTonyAU "God saves man through the Blood of Jesus Christ alone, and man's belief in, and allegiance to Christ is salvation." Ellen G. White, Signs of the Tmes, Dec. 20, 1889

  • @FatTonyAU I was baptised (SDA) in 1972. I developed some of the same ideas toward my church leaders. Like you, I eventually left the church. On April 1, 2004, I gave my heart to Christ. Funny, how that changes ones outlook. Since my conversion, I have had five pastors (SDA of course) since then and each one has been a kind. and loving, Christ-focused, Bible-based Christian. Funny what an attitude adjustment can do. I've wasted 20 years. Tony, don't follow my example.

  • @FatTonyAU With your 12 years experience in the Adventist church you should realize that the average Adventist knows more Scripture than most other denominational pastors. Although I trust my pastor explicitly, I don't need to ask him for understanding. I go straight to the Word. The word tells me "Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy." You have no Scriptural basis to justify treating Sunday as a Sabbath. If you persist in following your own guidelines, isn't this "righteousness by works."?

  • @FatTonyAU Tony, Jesus came to earth and kept God's commandments (all of them) and never broke them and never sinned. Now, I don't know why God loved me so much but He sent His Son to us that I might be saved, and through the miracle of Grace, if I accept Jesus' atoning sacrifice for my sake, and put my life in His hands (pay attention now), God sees me as if I have never sinned. Now, I don't understand this Amazing Grace, but I accept it and I love Him for it. I hope you will learn to love Him.

  • @FatTonyAU Tony, I was once dead. Jesus walked by lifted me up, healed me, and gave me a new life. It's really good. I love Him. Truly. Why would I not want to visit Him in His church on His day and praise Him for loving me when I hated Him. I love Him. He said "If you love me keep my commandments." I don't keep them to be saved, He's already saved me. I keep them because He loved me when I wasn't worth loving. SDA

  • @fattonyau hey how come you disappeared from the other youtube videos regarding Adventism everytime someone asks you questions? It seems a bit dodgy. Oh ye of little answers. Where is your faith?

  • @fattonyau What I really like about your posts is that you never respond to anyones questions. So..do you trust your heart when it comes to God?

  • @fattonyau Your at it again. How many times must you be corrected. Adventism is not a cult. Read Walt Martins book "KINGDOM OF CULTS" he is the guy who you post comments in his Adventist debate on Youtube. Look up the definition of a cult. Lol the Sabbath is not our God. Read the commandments again.

  • @fattonyau Hey long time no see. I SEE your still playing the 1 sided Q&A. The part where you accuse and ask questions. Then you side step and refuse to answer. What are you afraid of. Do you seek validation of your belief by persecuting others? Thats not very Christ like.

  • @Jesus4Truth I think you are accountable now of what you are doing if you believe this things.

  • @Jesus4Truth Sabbath keeping is part of the commandments of God. Keeping this commandments cannot saved you. The 10 commandments is just a mirror to ourself that we are committing a sin. After we knew we commit sin, that's the time you need Jesus to take away your sin. If you believed that Jesus can take away your sin and be your savior then you are saved. If you believed He already save you, is it okey to Him to neglect His commandments? as the sabbath as part of the 10 commandments?

  • @rustyphy good to know that you recognize Jesus is truth, but the 10 commandments never said it can save you ad Adventist never said it can save you either... Its just pointing you to Jeus Chirst and Keeping it is wise if you dont God will hold you accountable!

  • @Jesus4Truth If you are a sinner then: How do you know you commit a sin? you can answer anything you like.

  • @Jesus4Truth I will ask you a simple question: Are you a sinner? you can answer anything.

  • We all came from different walks of life.... and each one of us has our own opinions and beliefs... All I can say is.... I always respect other's beliefs... Judging others does not make you sanctified and saved... everyday, I try to do good deeds to others... life is too short to complain.... I am enjoying a single bit of my breath here on this earth... I am just enjoying my friends and family.... that's what's life is all about..... relax folks....

  • @yonie31 Ladies, I thoroughly enjoyed your music. Beautifully done and a glory to God. Praise the Lord.

  • @FatTonyAU: "I noticed you refused to answer my question, and desperately trying to sidestep it."

No desperation involved. You can't even answer your own question--so why should anyone else?

  • @FatTonyAU: "If they say that quote is taken out of context, then ask them to put that EGW quote into context for you. Then when they cannot do it, prepare to see white foam from the mouth of Adventists as they get angry, abusive and will claim you are a son of Satan!"

Note that I did do what he claimed I couldn't do and didn't do what he said I would do.

  • "Behold," said the psalmist, "thou desirest truth in the inward parts; and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom." In the light of the law, covetousness is seen to be idolatry, lust adultery, and anger murder. No wonder that the carnal mind is enmity against God, and not subject to his law. {ST, March 3, 1890 par. 3}

  • "His law spoken from Sinai and exemplified in the life of Christ, is perfect, converting the soul. It condemns every sin, and requires every virtue. Not only does it demand a correct outward deportment, but its principles reach even to the thoughts and affections of the heart. ..." (to be cont'd)

  • "We may measure ourselves by ourselves, and compare ourselves among ourselves; we may say we do as well as this one or as that one, but the great question is, Do we meet the claims that Heaven has upon us? The reason why iniquity prevails to such an alarming extent is that the law of God is made void in the earth. ..." (to be cont'd)

  • "In order to let Jesus into our hearts, we must stop sinning. The only definition for sin that we have in the Bible is that it is the transgression of the law. The law is far-reaching in its claims, and we must bring our hearts into harmony with it. Men may wrap themselves about with their own righteousness, they may reach their own standard of character, but they do not reach the standard that God has given them in his word. (to be cont'd)

  • @FatTonyAU If you willfully commit sin will you be saved? Yes or no?

  • @FatTonyAU: "you also rely on yourself and your Sabbath works to save you! '

I never have before, why should I start now?

  • @FatTonyAU: "As I suspected, all Adventists run and hide from my question and refuse to give a direct and honest Yes or No Answer,"

The critics can't answer their own pseudo questions. They have no desire to learn the truth, they don't seek the truth. They cavil like the Pharisees of Christ's day.

  • @FatTonyAU: "I would like to ask you 2 questions"

I don't play your kind of games.

    >Do you believe you are infallible and have perfect understanding and perfect interpretation of entire Scripture? Yes or No?

    Do you?

  • @FatTonyAU: "2. If you stopped attending SDA Church Service every Saturday morning for the rest of your life, can you still be saved in the end and avoid the mark of the beast? Yes or No?"

Ah, Tony from Topix! New name! Always hiding.

  • @FatTonyAU: "I speak from personal experience as I was a member of the SDA. "

We have no proof of that.

  • @FatTonyAU: "You purposely do not reply to you messages so you hope I do not see your messages and are not notified so you hope I won't come back to this video channel."

I have no idea what you are talking about.

  • FatTonyAU: But you lie and twist the Bible

    I NEVER LIE, bud!

  • FatTonyAU "Notice those verses say, "I NEVER KNEW YOU". "

You missed the part about them calling Jesus "Lord." They claimed to be Christians.

  • @FatTonyAU: try to earn your salvation through your Sabbath works!"

There is no work when one rests--in Him. Se Heb. 4.

  • @FatTonyAU: The "will of the Father" cannot be commandment keeping or works, because NO HUMAN keep the 10 Commandments of God.

    SDA's don't teach that.

  • @FatTonyAU: It's Satanic and disgusting when Adventists accuse people who love Jesus

Mat. 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

  • @Jesus4Truth: SDAs believe anyone who doesn't attend Church every Saturday will be rejected by God, lost and receive the Mark of the Beast, and that is easily proven by asking Adventists this:

    Not an SDA belief.

Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

  • @FatTonyAU: Adventists are double talking legalistic Pharisee's who rely on their Sabbath works to save them.

Keeping the Sabbath no more saves you than not killing anyone will save you.

  • @FatTonyAU: Can Sunday Keeping Christians who love Jesus and have faith in Jesus, be saved in the end times and avoid the Mark of the Beast?

Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

  • @FatTonyAU What would people who worship on Sunday reply to your question if it was reversed? Is a day of worship needed at all?

  • @Jesus4Truth no thats not true you were obviously in a church of hypocrites but at my adventist church we believe anyone who loves God and keeps His commandments will be saveddd into the kingdom of heaven not all adventist will be saveddd a long as you have the right personal relationship with God you'll be okay, how about you focuz on yourself 1st instead of trying to change others beliefs

  • @Jesus4Truth Do you just go around to all the Adventist video's and post the same thing? I've seen your comments on several chats. Why so bitter? These girls posted a nice video of a song and you come in on some Vendetta against all Adventists? I will pray for you.

  • @Jesus4Truth I answer no to both of those questions and yes i am a sinner. i am only human. any christian who thinks that they are better than everyone else is definitely absurd. when Christ was on earth he was humble. christian means to be christ like. i do not need to condemn others to feel like a good christian. i try my best to keep the sabbath holy and the commandments. god bless you :)
