Kaguya and Mokou have a really weird relationship. In "Inaba of the Moon and Inaba of the Earth" there isn't really much fighting going on, just Kaguya being a troll and Mokou trying to fight her most of the time. There's competition, like when they race at one point, but it doesn't seem that bloodthirsty like Mokou says in IN, something like "She always, always tries to kill me!"

@leafyxcrowy4eva In BIiJR they put out a fire together and although not much is known about what happened they obviously seemed to "get along" well enough to put it out quickly without yelling at each other. They probably started the fire (most likely Mokou) accidently in a fight but were able to stop fighting and control it before it spread.

So yeah, they're probably not as bloodthirsty towards each other as a lot of people think. I haven't read Silent Sinner in Blue yet but I will soon.

It's mostly Mokou's hatred of Kaguya since her father tried to get married to Kaguya but she sent him on a *pointless* quest to retrieve 5 treasures she already had. In his quest he abandoned Mokou and later died after the moon princess rejected him. Kaguya has no problem abandoning the feud so it's really up to Mokou if they want to stop

So instead of giving her the death sentence over and over again, she was banished from the moon. She and Mokou also pretty much kill eachother on a daily basis, however they keep coming back to life. So she's at least tasted it twice.

She didn't humiliate Mokou initially. You see, Kaguya had a lot of suitors wanting her hand in marriage. She would send them on the 5 Impossible quests for items...that she already had. She sent them all to their deaths for her own amusement. One such person was Mokou's father. Mokou attempted to assassinate Kaguya, but couldn't, as she's immortal. Mokou gained immortality as well, and over the last thousand years, they have been fighting each other pretty much nonstop.
