How To Fix a Flat Tire on a Car or Truck 1A Auto.com

I'm going out of state for vacation in a week and I noticed a nail had punctured my right front tire. I was wondering if I should fix the tire using the repair kit to patch it up or buy new tire(s). Since I'm going to be driving a lot would the tire be fine if I was to use the repair kit and patch it up? How long would the tire patch hold? or is it a permanent fix as to using the FIX A FLAT Spray which is only temporary?

@PiNoYK8be If the nail is in the middle of the tire and not the sidewall you can patch it and it should hold for quite a bit.
