@100EUROi - It wouldn't make for a good RTS. Nanosuit squads are supposed to be the ultimate in light infantry and scouting, serving as autonomous one squad armies able to circumvent and defeat entrenched positions through their high mobility and versatility.

If they had a DoW 1.5, a cross of some from DoW1 and DoW2, it'd be pretty badass. The limit in DoW2 is nice, and god, the use of cover is amazing, and I love that rockets actually do shit to vehicles and small arms doesn't do crap, but I feel it's lacking in the buildings department. I always enjoyed ransacking a base, not just... one building :P

dawn of war 2 is nothing compared to number 1, i loved base building its all about the strategy for me there i hate having no base its so rubbish, its got brilliant graphics but thts all i look forward to in it. IMO relic should stick to company of heroes thts all they do right these days...

no way! Blasphemy! Suppression is what makes DOW2 so much better than DOW1. No more being chased around the map by melee units.

The bad thing I suppose with dow2 is, its lost its epicness, armour is rubbish, and the consequnces for losing a unit are dear.

Dow2 is so much better IMO.

you clearly haven't played against good players. I used to be really good at the game. Dow1 was all about each race rushing to get thier own "game winner". With very little startgey apart from line up and shoot stuff. Dow2 makes you think and punishes you for bad choices. It forces you to keep your units alive.

And why do you think they added supression in dow2 if there was no "being chased around the map" problem. Dow1 is fun laid back startgey game, dow2 is more stratgic.

Don't treat DOW2 like DOW1. They are so different, so don't try and play dow2 like dow1 otherwise you won't enjoy it. Treat it like Company of Heroes.
