The long constant signal is the one signaling that the threat is over!

They are located on the rooftops.With the warningsystem, it is possible to warn suburbans and local areas with more than 1000 in population.That's about 80% of Denmark's population can be warned by stationary sirens. the 20% is mobile sirens installed on top of Police Vehicles. The Siren has a powerful deep sound, can be heard over great distances and indoor as well. And it is equipped with its own powersupply (Working during black out.)

In norway we do not even have tests like that.. only small ones that can be heard and during the test we only hear the last sound like on this vid. I think Norway is ignorant and stupid to not be prepared.

The Danish siren indicates that you should go to safety inside your house, close all doors and windows (In case of toxic air) and turn on the TV/Radio to find out what the problem is.

It is used for War, Toxic air, Extremely dangerous weather, earthquakes (zombies XD). Almost anything that would require a warning.

If i remember right the sirens are tested once a year at the first wednesday of May.

Yes, even tough they do still have to do a loud test, so you notice it the single time, to make sure that ppl can hear the siren if we're gonna need it :D
