@cbertram11 Right on. You'll love our island, but be warned, there are a ton of challenging hills. Also many of the roads are narrow and windy so be careful. Have fun and stay safe.
The road looks so good...wow. Didn't even think it was Salt Spring. Can't wait till everything is green again...almost !!! We are lucky to live here!!!!
@Graveltrucker As a matter of fact yes. Those people in front of me in that convertable were going way to slow , but they were locals. Can't pass either, the roads are double lined and the roads are narrow and windy. I was gritting my teeth.
nice looks nice their i still look at your weather at wunderground and still don't look all that warm to me im sure it does to you but not to em were sopse to geta heat wave this weekend up to 95f
@blastoff577 The weather here in my opinion has been just perfect, because I have to work out in it. Today was 65 F. in the shade. I hate when it gets to hot because if you have to work in it, that sucks! Last spring and summer we had a heat wave for months and it was to much. The gardens here love this weather and grow jungle like. I'll upload a video later on so you can see.
@bj616 yes last summer here was cool and rainy to use COOL, to you no it would still been hot, it didn't get real hot here untill August. Like i said looks nice there, but don't see palm trees everywhere their. I know you really brought the SUBtropics to those islands i pat you on the back way to go my friend. My woman in Prince George mom died they live in Kelown her PARENTS her mom was 91 i had one of my old teachers died a friend died a family member died
@blastoff577 Last Summer here part of our island reached 100 F. and every day was around 80 F. and higher. Day after day for months I really can't take that heat. Nobody around here has air conditioning because we have the ocean to keep us cool, but last summer it didn't help. Prince George gets hot in the summer and bitterly cold in the winter. Kelowna is like a desert with super hot and dry summers.
@bj616 wow it didn't get 100 here last year not even close i think 90 and that was all only like three times i think and that was in August a lot of people have air conditioning here, and believe it or not a lot of people don't have it, my friend greg who lives at home his dad don't like it and don't have it lol and dude it gets hot here, I didn't put in my air conditioning in my window yet
I don't like it super hot either, but we do get some humid days during the summer in Southern Ontario. It was around 28c today, really nice but I can't take much more than that. Kelowna must be the hottest city in our beautiful country.
@MrFrozenCanuck That's one thing we rarely get here is Humidity. Never to hot in the Summer nor to cold in the Winter. Believe it or not, the city with the hottest summers is Kamloops. The city with the most humid summers is Windsor, Ontario.
@bj616 yeah, it's dirty and dangerous. Funny thing is you can buy a house there for less than what it costs for a nice new car and nobody will buy. There's no jobs and there are tons of illegal guns on the streets coming across the border from Detroit.
@MrFrozenCanuck That sounds like a place where I would never live. I don't like guns and I hate crime! I park my vehicle in town here with the doors unlocked and often my keys in the ignition. Most people here don't even bother locking their doors.
@bj616 Yeah, I hear that. I live in a pretty safe area of Toronto but in a city this size you can't leave your doors unlocked. When I was a kid, you could but those days are long gone.
@MrFrozenCanuck Unfortunately all places seem to change , but not for the better. Our population is growing as well and with that also crime. Mostly vandalism
@bj616 You have the bad habit I have. Look for the keys for the truck oh ya they are in the ignition. Most people leave their doors un locked it is funny to see people from the city locking their cars up like Fort Knox. The windows are open stuff laying on the truck seat.

Getting any of the slow poke tourists on the road yet. The ones that don't know what a pull out is for or knows there is a speed limit.
