Sharula is a fake. Her original name is Bonnie Condey, while her Sharula Dux name is from the main character from a 1978 romance novel titled SUNRISE OF SPLENDOR. Just as Adama was a space commander from a 1978 Sci-fi TV series called BATTLESTAR GALACTICA and TElOS, is a name from George Hunt Williamson's book SACRED PLACES OF THE LION, which has nothing to do with Mt Shasta, but all have an Egypt theme. As discovered by Bill Hamilton, she was in fact born in Utah back in around the early 1950s.
