  • I want her!! :)

  • Gorgeous. I'd kill to ride one.

  • @GothicLilly Portuguese saddle made by Ludomar in Spain.

  • this is straight out of a dream! beautiful

  • @MsAesthete thank you :)

  • soooo cool

  • I don't know why people think horses looks better when they're high-stepping, to me they looks the best when their gait is long and natural, especially Friesians. They just don't look good to me when they're stepping high and jolting their legs, ugh.

  • So gorgeous ! They're so beautiful, this is my dream^^ Maybe on day... who knows :)

Nice music too, what is the name of the second ?

Thx, and continue to have fun ;)

    Bonjour de la France ^^

  • LOL @ people on the beach. They never seen such a huge horse before. XD

  • First time n the beach and still they have to perform those weird tricks. Poor Friesians.

  • @Saartje05 They dont seem upset by it.. Thier ears are forward..

  • @SwEeTsKiLlS235 there are many tricks for that.

  • soooo pretty :) what breeds are the other two horses?

  • @Woolie423 Black ones are Friesians and the paint one is Friesian/Dutch Warmblood

  • @loooraaa09 Thanks!

  • Oh! I got it...you said what the breeds are!

  • Is the paint a gypsy? Or, Cob?

  • I found you :D!

  • Barney? What is a channel description so I can FB you?

  • So, one horse is 100% Friesian and the other 75% Friesian X 25% Dutch Warmblood? Both saddles are Ludomar?

  • @mlibow3 There's 3 horses in the video. Two 100% Friesian and one 75% Friesian and 25% Dutch Warmblood.

The saddles on the Friesians are Ludomar, the one on the paint is made in Nicaragua

  • There are no words...speechless...incredible. Who are you? Do you run a horse stable? If so, the name? Do you need a stable manager? I'm for hire!

  • wow, your animals are amazing! I've worked with a lot of horse but never seen any this beautiful or greatly gaited!

  • What absolutely Gorgeous animals you have!!!! so jealous!!! I have always wanted a Freisian!!!! and on the beach!!!! gorgeous and obviously immpecably trained!!!

  • wooaah this is a m a z i n g l y beautiful! I am so jelaous

  • I love this video <3 You have very beautiful horses.

...but I have to ask about the saddles...the one on "Luke" is obviously a western saddle...but Ate & Hessel's saddles didn't look right for english or western...and at first I thought one of them might be an Australian Stock saddle, but then I also thought one of them was similar to the traditional Peruvian Saddle...but that could have been a trick of the light! (or maybe I just need new glasses!)

  • @araucano0 Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

The saddles on Ate and Hessel are Portuguese saddles. The brand is Ludomar, from Spain.

  • Magnificent!

    Friesians and the ocean........ :D.

  • Wow i have always admired how beautiful you horses are i see them at the hipicas sometimes. I feel so tiny on my horse hes an ibero my dream is to have one of these horses one day...they are beautiful!.

  • @shecklergirl92 thank you :) They are definitely special.

  • Can Freisians gallop really fast?

  • @AandIShow not as fast as other breeds, but they can gallop fast. It depends on the type of Friesian too.

  • Wow what a beutifull horses how do you learned that to that horses?

  • @roosjexxx123 months and months of training and patience.

  • Me too Annikal I watch it often - makes me happy too

  • ¿A qué distancia está de Estelí?

  • @randomblond92 by horse or by car? lol not, sure. I would say more than 3 hours. Maybe someone else will answer.

  • Notice how people can't help but stop and stare! They are poetry in motion.

  • I always return and watch this every now and then. It just makes me so happy and calm to see.

Care to adopt me? ;) I'd love to be able to ride such fine horses.

  • @AnnikaL haha this is the best thing I've heard all day :)

  • @AnnikaL Too young to adopt lol, I;m only 23.

  • @bchamorro Haha, true, that could be weird. ;) Since I'm 22. ^^

Are these your private horses or do you sometimes take other ppl with you as well?

We dont have those kind of beaches here where I live in Sweden, which is really sad.

  • БОЖЕСТВЕННО)

  • how high can friesians jump? they look pretty athletic, i think one day ill consider getting a cross

  • @rotansilversplash Actually, you do not want to jump with Friesians. They are not built for that; way too much weight to be coming down on those legs. I loved my Friesian and I never would have asked him to jump. If you want to jump, pick a different breed, preferably not a draft breed.

  • @horseA123 aww true, well i have an andalusian cross holstiener, his just come back from a tendon injury, so by feb-march next year we will be back competing 120cm, but my next horse is planned, his born already, 2 year old, i got about 4 to pick from and they are irish sport horse crosses :) so yeah staying away from the draft breeds

  • @rotansilversplash Those Irish sport horses are little jumping demons :-). Go for it! I look at video of Ireland and I see why riding is so popular; what beautiful land! I can just imagine the fun riding over those fields.

  • @horseA123 any horse can jump

  • @rachelsbeauty Of course, any horse CAN jump. It isn't a question of ability; it's a question of health. I preferred to keep my friesian in good health. Friesians were not bred for jumping; any regular jump training would put too much pressure on their legs. I'm sure the odd jump here and there is fine, but not for regular training.

  • Beautiful horses. I adore the friesian breed. I do wish that people would allow their horses a little more freedom, let them have their head for a while. I know they arn't doing anything wrong, this is not an attack at the riders, just a personal preference.

The horses are in fantastic condition and obviously well cared for.

  • jaja moondance in the background clase bacanal ese anio... vos sos amigo de allan mansell verdad? haber si nos encontramos en una hipica soon

  • @jilb07 oye si se quien es pero solo de cara.

  • Show off's! But don't get me wrong, I would show off too if I was riding any of these horses! They are just stunning!

  • This is beautiful!! (except for the guy pointing his toes >.<)

I love how draft horses canter :F

  • @KrustyRox thanks!

  • freisians are the best i wish i could own one though the horses in this vedio were amazing

  • This is incredible! They are so beautiful and talented!

  • How much training and how long would it normally take to train a friesian to this level? I have mainly ridden warmbloods but am considering a friesian next. Your black horse is stunning!

  • @steph23mc Hi Steph, the Friesians had a little over a year of training and the paint warmblood/Friesian about 10 months. Friesians were 8 and 7 years old, paint was also 7 years old. They were getting training about 6 days a week for about 40 minutes each.

Thanks, I'm glad you like my black horse. Friesians are the best, don't even think about it, just get one :).

  • how much training and how long would it normally take to train a friesian to this level? How old are your horses in this? I have mainly ridden warmbloods but i am considering a friesian next time. Your black horse is stunning!

  • Are you kidding , they look fantastic, is a common characteristic for young stallions to be a little rigid. Beautiful playground isn't it?

  • We own and show Friesians so I'm pretty use to how spectacular they are but MY GOODNESS!! ~ Phenomenal ~

  • @rachellebarger :) thanks!

  • Felicidades !!! tienen unos caballos estupendos !!

  • Bello il video, bella la canzone degli Who. Bravo :)

  • This is absolutely beautiful. I love how every onlooker on the beach can't help but watch. Amazing. (:

  • Hi I just want to say BEAUTIFUL!!!!! What kind of bit do you find works best on your Friesians? I've always had paint horses and just recently got my first Friesian. I just love the breed! Please come train mine so I can do that on the beach too! :)

  • The video is fabulous but I cant say I agree that keeping a horse firmly wedged between a curb and spurs is good schooling. They may look collected and elevated but their backs look rigid and they seem agitated. Have to admit they are truly stunning horses. The coloured is particularly striking.

  • @TheMoonface82 Thank you :)

We use spurs to give more precise and more discreet cues to the horse. We do not harm them. We are cautious of proper leg movement to avoid injuring them.

  • Just very curious.... Are you training these horses, are they yours, how long have you been training them, what are you using them for, etc. Just more info please. I have two horseman from Mexico working with my horses and they are being taught "Spanish Dancing" which is new for Indiana. I am becoming aware of how popular Friesians are in Mexico and Central America so I am learning all I can.

  • @wildfeatherfarm

    Hi,

yes, these are my horses and when the video was filmed they had been trained for approximately one year. Friesians are very fast learners. I am aware that in Mexico they are very popular, but in Central America not so much. The Spanish horse is the dominant breed in Nicaragua and in the Central American region. My father was the first to import Friesians to Nicaragua and my grandfather Spanish (PRE).

  • @wildfeatherfarm I work with a team of trainers at my stables.

  • Is this the same stallion standing for stud in minnesota named Hessel?

  • @wildfeatherfarm

    No, this is another Hessel

  • Barney, I've told you before how beautiful I think this video is. I hope you always keep Friesians in your life, because you look so darn good on one, and because riding gives such feelings of joy and freedom that most of us lose as we get mired down in modern society.

  • @nuike49 THANKS :D I agree with you 100%

  • excellent video i love fresian horses

  • I love San Juan del Sur! I also loves friesians.. combining the two is amazing. Thanks for posting.

  • so funny the people running away around 2mins00. Hilarious!

  • I wish I had a horse JUST LIKE the black one that is shown here. SO BEAUTIFUL. Im from Puerto Rico and it feels so good to see them enjoying the strong beach breeze. So beautiful.

  • Very good video and presentation my frend....

  • They look a little confused and unsure. Is their a reason their steps seem hesitant and tense rather than soft? I love Friesians and their steps, but these seem different.

  • @RatongaBruiser please read the description of the video ;)

  • Loved the video, Friesians and the Pink Floyd just was perfect. Beautifully trained, and your Piebald cross was stunning!! I want a Fresian!!

  • The only control you ever have of a horse is how much it lets you have! hehe

Bless them, they are so ethereally beautiful...

  • oh my gosh I cannot spell, I meant your not youre haha

  • I love friesian gaits, they are so romantic and smooth looking! I am a huge fan of baroque style friesians. Youre horses are so beautiful!

  • @fancigal thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I also like baroque style friesians, but i often prefer sport friesians or a mix between the two.

  • yo nice video

  • Magnificent. Thanks for posting this.

  • @MickXQ thanks :)

  • @bchamorro Thanks for answering. Here in Japan we have some Friesians but they lose their colour because of the hot climate. They become brown, especially their manes. (Sorry I waited so long to answer; I didn't check my inbox for a few months.) Thanx again!

  • A mi en lo particular . San Juan Del Sur no me gusta. La arena de la playa es colo amarillenta obscura, M egusta mas el Atlantico de Nicaragua . Ademas SJDS siempre esta repleta de muchos turistas .

  • Beautiful!! I had the opportunity to "meet" my first Friesian at an eventing competition and he was absolutely amazing (although I have loved them since I was little). I would love to get one one day. Thanks so much for sharing.

  • barns, nice vid bro! clase farandula jaja. beautiful creatures; good music selection

  • @LizoNica

    muchas gracias Lizo!

  • Words cannot describe how jealous I am, lol.

  • Oh my dear, that paint is beyond gorgeous.

  • fantastic video,i plan to move to Nicaragua......great people!!!

  • I'm glad you like it. I agree 100%... great people.

We are going to shoot a new video soon.

  • Do you have a website?

  • @absinthe1faerie - I am currently working on getting one.

  • Since I'm 6 foot and 3 inches tall; will friesians seem small to me?

  • No, you will just have to find a big one :)

  • haha, for sure ;)

and how do you train horses? is there a particular way to do it?

  • I also own a Friesian, but yours is better taught!!

fan from the netherlands (where the friesian comes from!)

  • thank you :)

  • such beautifull horses and song--well done and thanks for the video

  • thanks and you're welcome :)

  • thanks! the beach started to get a little crowded in the afternoon...

  • yes it looked like it. I live in wales in the uk and ride almost every day in the summer on the beach and i hate it when the little kids come running up to you OUT OF NO WHERE haha great video and great horses.

  • I LOVE THIS HORSES!!

  • I really love this video! wonderful nature and beautiful horses!

  • Amazing!

  • Absolutely magnificant!! Great job you guys on filming the most awesome horse in the world!! If it's not a Friesian, it's just a horse. Great music to go with their movement and exuberance!! We have FrieWalkers and just love them. It would be a dream come true for me to ride them such as this on the beach!!

You can tell you have spent a great deal of time working with these beautiful animals. You really bring out their wonderful qualities.

Make some more of these videos!!!!!

  • Thank you very much for your wonderful comment. We are currently planning to film another video in another setting, but we are still waiting for some of our Friesians to complete their training :)
