Hi topazuk. Have you cleaned the ribbon cable connectors with contact cleaner? Sometimes just disconnecting and reconnecting can fix problems with these.
Suggestion 1. Altronics is in Australia. Their LCD is a nice blue colour and has been used to repair the Ultralite V1, as per the link in my next comment.
Google search for altronics in Australia. Then copy/paste the part no Z7018 into their search field.
@andrenhawaii - Have a look at the suggestions in my next three comments. YouTube wont allow me to post working links so copy and reassemble the links in your browser's address bar. There should be a dot before each com as well as the the au where used.
Thank you for the video, I have been able to disassemble my ultralite V1. I am having difficulty finding enough information to purchase a new LCD board. The original (TM162A9D P-2) is not for sale anywhere I can find it. I have found many on ebay, but none have the required pins on the back. Where did you purchase your lcd screen from? What specifications did you follow (16x2, 5v, size, etc...)?
@markireland - Sorry Mark, I don't know the part number for the knobs. I've found the tech support guys at MOTU to be pretty helpful. If you register at their site and ask the question they might advise a source.
