  • just discovered this lady, shez awesome!

  • a real woman's cry, when her lover is gone! this song really convince me of the pain which some of our beautiful sisters endure when they get hurt by cowards of men. i know i have hurt a couple of them in the past, but its songs like these which change us man to become better man.

  • rudo chete nhai wanhuwe

  • Sometimes its girl power that makes me love her music.I love women empowerment in a world predominantly male.

  • actually the world is predominantly female.. women account for 51% of the human population.

  • Depends on what u mean actually its rather ambiguous.Nothing to do with population. Its being inspired by pple like her to do better as women academically or otherwise.

  • From Ghana i pay homage to this fantastic African Songstress. I stumbled upon her music by accident; I'm happy i did. I have fallen in love. Ayekoo in "Ga" a local dialect in Ghana means "Well Done"

  • Ayekoo in "Ga" to Chiwoniso, the new Album is also great.

  • She is the zimbabwean ambassodor to the world. We are so proud of her.Just like the fact she followed in her father's footsteps. Having gone and grown up in America she couldn't forget her roots like Kunta Kinte!!!

  • Oh so she's in america? It explains the RNB influence which is strong.

  • i'm in love with this song..i love how chiwoniso is the perfect blend of tradition and yet she's still so modern and relevant to any generation.

this song is in my top ten best songs of all time..

chiwoniso my hats off to u, uri DHARA! blessings to Zimbabwe!

Kunyangwe asingayimbi nechishona nguya dzose seMbira Dzenharira it doesn't make me love this wonderful mbira playing musician any less.

    Ikeme

  • amazing vocalist... zimbabwe's own heritage

  • it would been better if she was singing in the mother language. there is too many English songs out there. let the english sing in english and shonas in shona please ndapota. what kind of nonsense is this ah! so its NO for me chioneso okay YOU R FIRED!!!!!

  • gosh u r sooo ignorant!! singing in english makes other ppl understand the song!! we forget one thing not all zimbos speak shona!! so dude get a life!!

  • look, everyone is entitled to their own opinion this why its called a forum! just coz she doesnt do for me doesnt mean everyone else should feel the way i do. please don call me ignorant coz you havent got a clue about me, so i send that word back to you now! i dont believe in calling pple names etc,its not anyone's to do so. Don be so worked out about it love its only music, please look around you there is so much to concern yourself with. you sound very offended. my apologies.

  • By the way i have a great life but i wouldnt mind agreater one, thanks for mentioning it and so i take the last part! take care dude.

  • its funny how you're writting in English... ask yourself why?

For that reason thats why its sang in English.

  • good voice, lovely talent, but given to an idiot

  • Please Judge not for the time for judgement shall come for all mankind.

  • remix dadi nice

  • dont fucken sing in eglish again thats African tunes dont change it!!!!it basically come from the culture

  • unopenga here iwe, siyana naye ,usateerere if u dont fancy it,i love it

  • Well said. Some people can be so disrepectfull. This is a very good tune. The mix in English and Shona is very good. Reminds me of the days back home. Chiwoneso is one of my very best.

  • though i don agree with the rude word there but i totally agree with what you mean mate. its just totally takes the flavour out. the reason why i love some of the African artists is becoz, they keep it real and true to their roots.

  • Chiwaniso spent several years of her childhood in America and learned English fluently. Sometimes we find that certain words are easier to say in one language or another. So it may have felt more natural for her to her love song in English even though her accompaniment is more traditionally African.

Also, if her lover is only fluent in English, then she may have decided to sing her song in this language to be certain that he would know her feelings.

Not all good reasons for things are obvious

  • ah. Thank for such an eloquent polite response, you are a genius unlike some morons that have replied to me.

  • My all time fav Zim tune. She rates in the top 5 artist Zim ever produced. Along Bhundu Boys, Mukanya, Tuku, Andy Brown etc. too bad it's not the album version, which I have.

  • I love Chiwoniso, whenever I'm homesick i listen to her music. Mbira take me right back to zim!!!!

  • wooow this is sooo good omg. didnt know anogona so. Was this for Andy Brown tho? hmmm

  • to fabian and chiwoniso
