on settler the player gets absolutely insane research, production, commerce, culture, and diplomacy bonuses

the AI is also nerfed to all hell

yes it was setler but there was 8 other civilizations so it makes rising little slower

you have some ridiculous bonuses on settler. You can easily reach the space age by 1000 AD on settler with all the extra production and commerce you get

think of it like this you attacked more than 50 times and 2.5 is about 1 in 50
