hay, im having problems with mine. I downloaded the Vista version and burned it to a CD. i then restarted with the CD in the drive but it didnt load. if you can, could you make a tutorial for Vista. I tried about 4 times and it did not work for any of them.

This showed what the password was, it did not change the tiger77 password.

Google or Wikipedia can tell you more, just search. :)

When I download the Ophcrack Live File it is an Zip. Now do I extract that then burn it as a Data disk? Im using Power2go as my software to Burn it. i hear ISO alot? Or can I use my Jump Drive instead of CD? If I need ISO how to i make the file to iso? Sorry....

I'm not familiar with that error, but from what I've found from a google search it seems to be a issue with a corrupt burning session, so I'd say best thing to try would be downloading it again and re-burning it, perhaps with a different program, I recommend IMGBURN which is completely free and works very well with ISO files.

i have vista,, and i know a much easyer way,, wanna know how ?,, i turn off the computer,, turn it bck on,, hit f8, then i bring up the reboot and Command Prompt,, then i use my password hacking codes,, and i change my user account password from there,, then i turn the computer off,, then bck on ,, then i type in the password i chanmged it to,, and it works,, easy shit,,

Picture it like this.

Over protective mommy and daddy leave for the afternoon.

Child then uses this method to learn what the password is, logs in, uses the computer, logs off.

Parents come home and never know anything was changed.

Your way, they come back and the password is changed and they know you've been up to something.

Plus this works with xp, vista and maybe even older versions of windows.

There's more then one way to do something, some are easier, but some are better.

ok,, i get your point,, but youve been watching to many videos on youtube about hacks with cmd,, thats all bullshit, yes it works,, but the log in password for any user is allways stored away on the main computer files somewere,, thats how your program gets the password and you dont have to change it,, but i know how to get the password from cmd,, so i dont need to change anything either,, once again,, i know how to change the password,, delete the password,, remove the password,, & get the psw

What was the exact error? You're sure you burnt it to a CD and not a DVD? You got the correct download link for your OS?

Yes, it would. 1. First, create a "New Directory" to house your work 2. Download Ophcrack Live CD to the new directory 3. Download and extract usboph.zip to the new directory 4. Click fixoph.bat and follow the onscreen instructions 5. Copy all the files from the Ophcrack directory to your USB device 6. From your USB device, click makeboot.bat and follow the instructions to make the drive bootable 7. Reboot your PC and set your BIOS boot menu to boot from the USB device

Well, you'll need to set your bios to boot from USB-ZIP or USB-HDD. Or, set the hard disk boot priority to boot from the USB stick if your BIOS lists the device as a hard drive

Not all computers can boot from flash drives, check the bios options first. You might be best off just using a disk.
