I was in the hurricane and it was nice in the eye because I was swept off my feet when I was 8 but now I'm 11. It was fun since I made my little brother fall with me age 7. I crashed against him. We were in our bathroom listening to the radio...praying but it was also the funnest I have ever had.

I lived in New Orleans up until Katrina. Not that it's any of ANYONE'S business, but I am white. But that day, I lost brothers and sisters... black, white, and everything in between. Color doesn't matter. These were PEOPLE, not crayons. My best friend actually sent this song version to me after Katrina and I have loved it ever since. She has since passed away, so keep this song as a tribute to all those lives lost in New Orleans.

This is a good video, i was in katrina and it really brings back alot of memories some good and some bad, we lost are home, everything we ever owned, went without running water and power for over 5 months in 115 deg heat index, and all in all we where happy we where alive, we never asked why us. the damage was unimaginable, you can never truly experience a natruel disaster until you expeience it with your own eyes, i work for FEMA and i just got back from smithville which was hit by a F5 tornado

Our goverment will pull a car over and give them a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt. But yet they let our Levee's and infrastucture in this country go to shit. When will We The People Stand back up for our selves. Even during katrina we had goverment officials trying to stop VOLUNTEER rescuers from going out in boats that had expired boat tags. Are you kidding me. Our goverment is becoming so much Do as I say not as i do. We need to deliver a ticket to the U..S. for these levees. it's time

i was in ocean springs when katrina hit...and still living here today.....i hate the death that the storms bring...but i love hurricanes... the wind and rain....its just a feeling you cant get anywhere but in a hurricane.....but i was only 10 and while i was outside having a blast Me my parents and family didn't realize how bad the storm was until the power came back on a week later......RIP those who lost their lives in Katrina....

I was in the hurricane and it was nice in the eye because I was swept off my feet when I was 8 but now I'm 11. It was fun since I made my little brother fall with me age 7. I crashed against him. We were in our bathroom listening to the radio...praying but it was also the funnest I have ever had.

I lived in New Orleans up until Katrina. Not that it's any of ANYONE'S business, but I am white. But that day, I lost brothers and sisters... black, white, and everything in between. Color doesn't matter. These were PEOPLE, not crayons. My best friend actually sent this song version to me after Katrina and I have loved it ever since. She has since passed away, so keep this song as a tribute to all those lives lost in New Orleans.

This is a good video, i was in katrina and it really brings back alot of memories some good and some bad, we lost are home, everything we ever owned, went without running water and power for over 5 months in 115 deg heat index, and all in all we where happy we where alive, we never asked why us. the damage was unimaginable, you can never truly experience a natruel disaster until you expeience it with your own eyes, i work for FEMA and i just got back from smithville which was hit by a F5 tornado
