so brilliant. the talent and musicianship and voice are just staggering. such a stellar keys player too, his voicings are so freakin lush. read the liner notes on voodoo. he's playing every instrument on some of these tunes. he deserves to join the ranks of guys like stevie prince and ray, but i fear some bad career moves (naked video) and some personal problems may hinder that. neo-soul is nothing without him (sorry anth hamilton and maxwell, you guys are great but not D by any stretch).
