I cant get my foscam ipcam to work on my iphone 4. It seems to work on my computer, i can see the video, scroll around, etc. But i cant get it to work with different apps on my iphone. keep getting errors like connection fail, etc.. My ipcam is hooked direct to my at&t broadband modem. Please help!
my friend i got the same brand of camera vivotek...i plug the camera in switch..or router...and cant see it in the installation wizard 2....what do u think.. ?
OK. it made total sense to me but you lost me when you accessed your camera at work. how did you come to that specific IP? My camera's IP address on my home network is the standard 192.168.1.x so how would i access that IP from outside?
Great tutorial if I was tweaking on speed for speed for 48+ hours. It could also be done about 5 times faster then it already is with that auction voice like "whadda-whadda-whadda- AAAAA-TCIP--bidda-bidda-AND-SOLD!"
I did set up my IPCAMs, but only when after getting completely fed up and sketching out my OWN diagram with all required steps.
How you cancel pinging. If i type ping xxxxx and xxxxx dont respond how do i cancel pinging after lets say 2 pings (it usualy 4 but sometimes it take forever to finish)
Eric, I am wanting to add four cams for a tourism website. Each cam will be located in a different location with view of the golf course, lake, beach, etc. I'm wanting to upload a picture every minute and the pic will be viewable on a web page.
I'm wanting a better resolution than 640 x 480 as the pics will be more of a landscape pic, but you want to be able to see things in the picture as well. If the cam can pan and tilt, great. If it had night vision, great.

For people who wants to use ipcam to monitor there homes etc., I also found a website webcamapps.appspot.com. They don't require network setup (sort of), as long as your ipcam is up in your home network.
Great !but i have a question, after setting up my ip camera than there will be an ip address where i can gain access to the camera, but what if my WAN ip address changes, will i be able to access the camera with the old ip address ??

i understood everything up until you logged on to the camera. i thought the portable cam has it's own ip? so if one wants to log into the cam you simply type the ip address from the web.
