I did set up my IPCAMs, but only when after getting completely fed up and sketching out my OWN diagram with all required steps.

  • Eric, I am wanting to add four cams for a tourism website. Each cam will be located in a different location with view of the golf course, lake, beach, etc. I'm wanting to upload a picture every minute and the pic will be viewable on a web page.

I'm wanting a better resolution than 640 x 480 as the pics will be more of a landscape pic, but you want to be able to see things in the picture as well. If the cam can pan and tilt, great. If it had night vision, great.

For people who wants to use ipcam to monitor there homes etc., I also found a website webcamapps.appspot.com. They don't require network setup (sort of), as long as your ipcam is up in your home network.
