  • So diligent!

  • Yes, he is. I love the way he takes it all in stride, whether it be the wind blowing him over or beaking with K26. He just makes an adjustment and keeps on going.

  • Do you happen to know how old this Eagle is (an his mate)?

  • K10 hatched in 2001. His mate, K26, hatched a year later in 2002. Both were hatched at the San Francisco Zoo and fostered into Catalina Island nests when they were about a week old.

  • Wow! That is really interesting. Thank you for the info. I need to do research and find out more, but I have migraines and don't get to do a lot that I would like to do. Thank you again for answering.

  • The IWS discussion forum has done a lot of research on these eagles. Check it out when you're able....especially the second towards the bottom called "ALL EAGLES ALL THE TIME".

  • Thank you AGAIN for more info. I wrote this down and will check it out...eventually. Ann

  • p.s. Sorry to hear about your migraines! :(

  • Thank you! :)

  • Whoa - looks like one of the sticks grabbed K10 in the first few seconds there! LOL

  • I saw that. It's not easy building a nest, as we've seen the past couple of years.
