  • Inco took my father's life as well. In July of 2009 they found a mass in his lungs. When the surgeon operated to remove this mass it was too late as the cancer had spread to his lymph nodes. The doctor was very certain to say that our father's lungs had been contaminated. He then asked if my father was a minor. 6 short months later, of ICU, ventilators and heartache we lost our father. We went to Inco. They have done nothing. That's what they do for a man who gave them more than 30yrs.

  • I grew up in Sudbury that hell hole. I remember the taste of sulphur. INCO-Vale doesn't give a damn any employee. The bottom line is money, always has been always will be.

  • Just an update on the family:

Mr. Rainville's father has since passed away from his cancer. Rest in Peace Maurice. <3 My heart goes out to Chris and his family at this time.

  • Heartbreaking... Shame on Vale Copper Refinery, and all the others like it!

  • I didn't know whether to like or dislike this video. Its so sad.

  • Your's is one one many stories like this from Sudbury, my uncle was also affected with a rare form of cancer from the same refinery. Thank you for bringing this to peoples attention, as we have overlooked these great men and women for too long.
