  • As some guy said in video, we eat what we choose to eat, if some meteor is going to hit earth guess who's gonna save those stupid animal asses? Pigs? Cows that eat grass whole day? Lazy lions? NO!

US FUCKING HUMANS WILL! We will nuke threat and live happily after, so if we choose to eat those damned things we should! We rule!

  • Kitteh!

Supposedly, human flesh tastes like pigs.

It's so barbaric that we kill animals, and I'm disturbed by all animals killed for meat or fur (or whatever). But for some reason, the animal that really disturbs me above all others, is all cetaceans. I've always had such an overwhelmingly strong emotional connection to them... sort of assumed the world understood these animals are not to be respected, not tampered with. I was mortified to learn of their slaughter and consumption.

  • I love your videos! I have just discovered your channel, going through it all right now ;)

It's so "funny"/frustrating to see how strongly everyone react when a cat is thrown in the garbage, or dogs are tossed in the river (etc), but nobody gives the "food animals" any thought or sympathy, despite all the pain and hardship they go through. That's just "the way it is", apparently. Why can't we all see through these impossibly illogical ideas??

    You put it perfectly, Miss!

  • you are so beautiful and so wise.

    Hello, kitty :)

  • that comment was a reply to theunsilenced btw. But anyway, it's true there is no such thing as a food animal. It's such an arrogant thing to say.

  • I think all sharks have the right to eat humans if we get in their ways.

  • Quick summary (not to be repetitive or completely exclusive):

Horses are eaten in parts of Europe.

Dogs and cats are eaten in parts of Asia.

Dolphins and whales are eaten in Japan.

Guinea pigs are eaten in Peru.

Cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys, fish etc. are eaten in the U.S.

  • What's the difference? ALL are sentient beings. ALL are individuals with intrinsic, not monetary, value. ALL deserve the basic moral right not to be treated like a thing, used as a means to an end.

Porolita -- Nice video, and I love that quote (which is also spoken beautifully at the end of "Earthlings"). :)

  • "horses are eaten in parts of Europe" that would be about as common as people in America eating crocodile. It just doesn't happen. You just don't go to a restaurant's or supermarket in ANY European country and find horse on the menu or shelf. Such ignorance really astounds me.

  • I never claimed that everyone in Europe eats horse meat. But it is not as uncommon there as it is in the US. A lot of horse meat is shipped to Europe. And the point is that, those who get upset over the demise of one sentient being, yet contribute to another's, are being morally inconsistent. Farmed animals are no less sentient than dogs or cats. One person's companion animal is another's dinner. It's all in the matter of perception, but there is no real logic behind the favoritism.

  • man why are all the vegetarian women so fucking hot? lol

  • LOL

  • i'm serious!!!!! lol

  • @urbanmyths050 I think it may be because they don't consume violence so in turn their body doesn't give off violence, making them beautiful :)

  • haha your great well done for making this video it makes so much sense!

  • omg i like you. you like animals. i love animals soo much. i wish i could have a pig but my yard is to small and its against the law cus i dont have any kind of farm land.

  • Hey, I've eaten pigs and dogs before, at least I'm consistent! XD

  • Also, only certain parts of China eat dog and cat.. its not as common as you'd think it is.

  • 5/5

  • isn't the ending quote...from the movie Earthlings?

  • It was used in Earthlings, but it is from the Book The Outermost House, as quoted in the end of the video :-)

  • Oh well thanks so much. ^-^

Nice video by the way,you seem very smart too.

  • Very true. NO animal is a food animal. =C

D: all livings beings deserve to live, NOT to be eaten.

  • I love your widdle baby!

I read a story once about a pig that WAS a family pet... His family's house caught on fire, and he went into the house, woke the children, 'rooted' them out of the house, and then went back in for the parents. They're VERY VERY intelligent.

I rrreally like your perspective on "food animals" vs "other animals" -- a companion animal to some is a food animal to others... There is no delineation.

  • I just had a delicious vegetarian chili. Mother Earth provides us plant food. Animals have souls.

  • plants have souls too.

    you kill many plants everyday.

You should eat only the food of chemistry composition.

  • Show me some evidence that souls exist, please.

  • Every living organism is a potential food for some other organism, so I would say everything is food. Every plant, animal, insect, bacteria etc is food. Every living cell should be respected and loved.

I respect chickens, they give me eggs, and I don't want to eat the chicken. I buy only organic eggs, they taste better cause the animals are happy and free to do what they like to do.

  • i agree with you

  • hehehe, you sound like me too! Good points. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

  • Very true! Good video!

Words are use to try to justify the unjustifiable.

  • Wow..you sound like me!!! I am always pointing out those things to the people I know. Especially when they insult the chinese for example for eating dogs and cats..people have to stop and think about their actions. Eating a dog is exactly the same as eating a pig or a fish or a person...we all have the right to life and it's that simple. Well done!

  • Wonderful video. It's impressed me. Will you translate it into spanish? I'd like to send it to some people here in Spain. I think they need to hear your words.

  • Ok! Me da pena vlogear en español pero ya que lo solicitas creo que lo haré!

  • Bueno, no quiero darte trabajo. Tu mensaje es excelente, igual que tus vídeos. Un saludo desde Barcelona.

  • "vlogear" LOL!

  • I do not understand anything in English

  • Yeah, I almost had to eat guinie pig when I was in Ecuador.

    Cui?

I`m not sure how you spell it, but yeah.

    Anyways, GREAT video.

Your hair looks really nice when its sorta curly like that.

    OH.

    And your kitty is ADORABLE.

  • Eww poor you! :-(

I think it's spelled CUYO, but I don't really know. And thanks for the compliment, my hair should always look like that but I like it better straight.

    Cause I'm so vain!!!!!

  • You have AMAZING points.

    Go Veggies :D

  • Good video. I grew up on a farm but I dont think of animals that are normally eaten as "food animals". I love your kitty!

    :D

  • Thank you :•3

I'll post another video about them as soon as I finish it... I'm so lazy these days LOL.

  • Why do you wonder humans eat meat?

We are noting more then savage animals

Everyday we hear of people killing other People. We hear of Women murdering pregnant women to cut out their baby

We hear of men murdering children. We hear of husbands murdering their wifes and children

War, capitol punishment, abortion..... if humans don't respect human life how are we to expect us to respect animal life????

Yes, evolution made us omnivores and no wonder humans eat meat!

  • I agree with you realinohio, it is so sad, it's scary :'(

  • I loved your video. It is so true. Great job! 5*, this goes directly among my favorites and in my AnimalRights Playlist.

  • i'm not going to argue.. yes i am. i had a sausage omelet this morning no regrets. it sucks that a pig had to die for me to have that breakfast. and i guess the 2 eggs never got to grow into a chicken but you know what... i think there is a problem w/ torturing animals but when it comes to food they just got the short end of the stick when choosing rank in the foodchain. i do not cry over people bitten/ eaten by sharks because thats what happens when a hungry animal thinks you might taste good.

  • K so you might have no regrets regarding the animals, but the regrets might come on later years, when your dear sausage breakfast start rising your cholesterol levels, blood pressure, arthritis, aaah the list is long it ain't even funny.

Also not to mention the destruction to the environment that animal agriculture brings. No regrets about that either mate? huh?

    Just saying mate... just saying.

  • That's why I don't ever swim in the ocean... I've got shark paranoia the bad way!

That food chain thought is sort of true, but the difference is us humans have the alternatives, sharks really don't.

Anyway thanks for the comment Mike :-)

  • great video

  • Thank you!!!!!!

  • I think that we have lost the link between the supermarket and the animals.. and have developed an arrogant self importance as a species. It's so sad the state that we have reached, all in the name of making money :( it's really annoying and frustrating the way some people are..

  • We have to be thankful we've stepped out of that circle Holly dear... :)

  • If they are food animals then we are, by extension, ALSO food animals. So... why is it such a tragedy when a human child is eaten by a lion? But we're supposed to feel nothing when we eat a cow's baby? Why? Because they're food animals? Augh. Frustrating.

    *big hug* Great video hon.

  • FANTASTIC POINT!!!! 5 starred and faved. Thank you for saying this...you took the words out of my mouth :-)

  • all living being desearve to live the same!! and humans have no write to take it away!!

Our race will soon pay for all the killing of the f*cking meat-eaters!!! =(

  • Exactly! It would only be fair that Vegans were fighting the dolphin slaughter in Japan, but many of the people that fight it later go home to a big juicy steak? LOL it's just nuts!

  • Also, don't you think it's interesting that they wouldn't kill the animal themselves and then eat it?

  • To be honest that is what made me a vegetarian in the first place. One peek at how the animals are raised/killed and no more meat for me. Ever!

  • aww, your kitten is so cute! i didn't know about the poor dophins either =( i agree "food animal" is a bad term. ppl probably use it to ease their guilt. i wish more ppl would realize how silly it sounds.

  • I know! I love my Tita XD

  • Great video. I love that quote!! x

  • Thanks sweetie :•3

  • right! i can't remember where i heard this recently, maybe the livejournal veganism community (check it out), but people say they eat animals because animals have the nutrients they need. and when you REALLY think about it, the perfect animal for a human to eat if that's the reason they're eating animals, to get all the nutrients they need, is another human. so let's all be cannibals because we get protein the best that way! haha

  • LOL beware then, I'm gonna eat ya!!!!!

    With my vicious canine teeth!!!

    *RAWR*

  • One word: SPECIESISM - Google it.

All animals should be valued as equals.

Not because they are all the same but because they are individuals who deserve love and caring... and they have as much right for freedom and protection from harm as any other domesticated animal.

    Animals are not food DAMNIT!

  • Thank you, I could not have said it better myself.

  • i wonder if the word culture comes from... cult maybe? sacrifice a turkey for christmas its a loving time christams isnt it... apart for the turkey, yes that exactly what this is, we are one big manipulated cult...and its called society...

  • Whoa, I've always heard people saying Veganism is a cult. But now you mention it we might be the ones OUTside the cult... :-O

  • veganism isnt a cult nor vegetarianism, its just educating yourself, becoming more aware, of corse society is a cult thats why its short for culture, they all do the very same things celebrate the same things unaware... that is a clear symtom... lol

I do celebrate christmas, but there is no dead flesh on the table

  • very good points, and I totally agree... We (humans) perscribe the definitions of what animals are food animals, which ones are pets, and which ones should be worshiped... and those definitions change from culture to culture and over time... so people should realize that these definitions are not a never changing truth, but are ideas that can be (in my opinoin, should be) changed. Our ideas of food animals are based on culture and history and its time we redefined those things.

  • Exactly! We have reduced farm animals to objects, plastic packages, and forgotten they are live individuals just like the rest.

  • i agree with you 1000000%.

why is it ok to eat certain animals and love others as pets. its not fair!

  • Amen to that!
