A fun divide and conquer exercise would be to ask the professional godbotherers to each individually write down a list of their beliefs. Then compare them and see how inconsistent they are, then have each argue why their belief is true and the others is not.
If nothing else, all non-believers are consistent in their non-belief, which can only be altered by evidence, the quality of which all non-believers agree upon.
Although he does talk the most, it is not clear that Hitchens is given this time by the moderator or simply has more points to make. I think it is latter.
There isn't anything artificial stopping his 5 opponents from dominating the discussion other than the strength of their arguments (or lack thereof).
I think these guys must know their story has more holes than a bum's underpants, but they make their living peddling fairy tales, they cannot be objective.

Hitchens is an alcoholic. He has no knowledge of Christian theology and he fell on his face in this debate. It baffles me that people find him intelligent.

how does freewill explain smallpox? How does freewill explain great white sharks? at what point should God intervene on "man's" freewill?....I think auswiche is a good place. How much suffering do innocent people have to go through so that others can demonstrate their freewill? The freewill defence of the problem of suffering is weak.
Your right it is a weak argument indeed. Since god is defined as all loving and just, by their own scriptures, the christian god as defined clearly does not exist as is self evident by the lack of justice and suffering of innocent people.

Did God not intervene in the case of Saul? Did not the moving finger write? Has He not sent an Angel of death, sent plagues? If people wish to say God intervening would disrupt our free will, then they have to deny that God does miracles on earth, even deny He answers prayers.
