Never mind Waiting for Forever, Check Kristian Anderson. Dying of bowel cancer, he selflessly told his story on Triple M Sydney (major FM radio station here) for every man to here. In half an hour, on his death bed, he achieved more for cancer awareness than has been done in the last decade. He asked for one song to be played and this was it. Kristian, you've not only driven me to "step up" as you put it, but shown me a wonderful song to boot. Love you man, god bless.

@gpennyraven Did he really ask for this song? That's truly heartbreaking. I remember his story. That wonderful video he made for his wife, on her birthday. I'm shocked to hear his current situation.. He will leave behind an enormous legacy for the cancer awareness movement. What an amazing man and an inspiring family.. Sending them all my love. x

Yet again, Black Lab manages to send shivers down my spine. This is a very emotional song, like all the others.  I'm sure so many people are able to relate to his music. I especially like the ending of the video where the wave washes away her reflection.

@overdark666 They were on the major label previously, but Paul Durham decided to go independent as people from the label company started to dictate him how they should sound like. They would probably got more recogniton if they had stayed on major, but they wouldn't be able to do what they want.

Ebow is an electronic device used to create electronic Orchestra type string like sounds. You hold it near the strings of a guitar and it sustains withour the sound of a pick. Black Lab uses it on this song. Listen to the background swell of sound at 1:49. They used it a great deal more on "Your body above me" CD Listen to the songs "10million Years" and "Time Ago" tons of ebow.

Excellent video!!! Black Lab is one of THE great bands from this country and Paul Durham one of our greatest lead vocalists, IMHO. I agree with "lanesuzza" about Paul's TEN MILLION YEARS album. SEE THE SUN is still a favorite for me.
