if you can't see wind, what gives a tornado its shape/color? Is it just debris and particles that it has picked up? Cuz it looks almost like smoke or clouds but that can't be what it is.
can u believe they made us go 2 the center of walmart! With all the stuff that could fly around in there! OMG! A few of my coworkers and I were standing next 2 an underwear rack with all sorts of metal things poking out...It was a death trap lol...Thank god nobody was hurt or killed
My co-worker was "in the eye" she said. She has pics and one looks like, and Im not kidding in my perception, a hand reaching down outta the sky almost as if its reaching down to destroy something.
thats so sad my grandma lives in Ashland,MT and when it was on the news i started to cry when i saw the arena in sheards :'( wat also made me mad is that the people on the weather channel were smilling! god thats not funny people could have died! thank god no one got hurt though!
I don't think they were prepared, billings has 2-3 sirens scattered around but they only wen't off as it touched the ground, afterall it is the first tornado in billings in the last 60 years. >_<

haha we just recently moved to billings. and on the very first night the tornado siren went off scaring everyone out of their minds.

its odd, down here in the south we react to earthquakes like you do twisters. Glad no one was hurt but the property damage looks pretty high :/
it could have been a lot worse, thank whatever god you believe in for that...these things are killers.

My son and his wife were across the street from the Metra when the tornado hit. I am so happy no one was hurt!
