@TeslaShoe Not so, although in the Soviet campaign, I always figured a full-powered clone (if not the original who'd left one in the Kremlin) would have done something very similar to this afterward..

It helps to realize that Yuri's "advice" was pulling an even more comprehensive highjacking of the Russian government than Rasputin had done with Tsar Nikolas. In effect, Yuri was the real enemy all along, and beating the Soviets after Yuri fled meant less than nothing to Yuri.

Well in the first allied mission, you go to destory the mind control so you use the time machine to go back in time where the soviets were invading.. So the soivets were building a pysic domminator while they were in alcatraz.... The soviets were planning to use those pyshic domminators to control all of america and europe but the war was over i guess the soviets forgot about their little plan and yuri took control over it so it makes sense if you played both red alerts..

Yuri's Revenge actually in a way mirrors the Tiberian Sun expansion "Firestorm". Though both stories are radically different the backbone is strikingly similiar; both Cabal (Nod) and Yuri (Soviet) rebelled against their former factions; plus both factions were the antagonists in their respective storyline. In Yuri's case the Allies and Soviets had to work together. In Cabal's case Nod and GDI work together to stop Cabal.

The way i see it, the greatest "hero" in this video is (way, WAY indirectly) Yuri. He ordered his initiates to take over alcatraz. as part of that, they built the gattling cannon defenses. When the gattling cannon shot down Mojo 2, causing it to knock out the reactor, that essentially saved the whole world. So, indirectly, Yuri thwarted his own plans from the start of it all.

Just read this from Wikipedia. IGN scored this expansion 8.6/10. The only weakness cited was lack of single player mission for Yuri's army.

Well, Westwood could have made those missions.... If Only EA didn't pressured them and influenced the way they develop C&C games.

EA caused this game franchise to suck. RA 3 doesn't feel like you're commanding a war [Duh too cartoonish/cheezy] i.e. Kirov looks like a toy balloon for bullies.

@STEPHENDANERD well, I know that in a later C and C game, Gernals: Zero Hour, you had Chinese minigunners (and they were so annoying to deal with, if you didn't have some kind of sniper) In real life, portable gatling guns are not possible...despite what's seen in movies like the Predator (they had to have a special motor, offscreen, to power it, and to have the actual ammo would make it heavy enough to require a second man to carry it)

And also, in the first Allied mission, some of the enemies are mind-controlled civilians, which would mean that maybe those who saw it got caught by Yuri's forces and didn't come back to tell the tale. But someone, whether soldier or civilian, must have seen it and was able to alert the Allied communications officer.
