well just wanna comment for all the people telling this guy to slow it down, technically its very much in the style of a 1960's folk protest song, which back then you would hear hippies playing the same protest songs, but of course in their own style and unique way, so i feel its appropriate he took his own approach to it :)

Hey Koko! Thx for your nice comment! please have a look on the information I posted, there you see what chords I play! Yes, I tuned the guitar in E (E A D G B e) - the reason why it sounds different to a normal tuning is, that I use a "capo tasto" - that is a device that helps you to play in a different tune, so my tuning is a half-tone higher than normal E. Please do not hesitate to ask again if you have problems with that, then I try to explain it in detail to you!

I have to agree the tempo change really didn't suit the song at all. It's all well and good to make a song your own but unless the song is really open to interpretation your have to respect the original tone. Otherwise you end up with a mismatch between the tone and the lyrics which is what this is.

It's ok, John, I can bear that. That's part of being and artist: Some people like your work, some people don't. in my cover versions I try to change the songs always a bit. I think a tribute should be more than just trying to sound like the idol. But some people don't think like that. And then they start saying: "Tschimmi you suck, because you don't sound like the original." -- what can I say? Sure I don't, because that wasn't my intention. .. cheers!
