Pamela Snee (sorry if it's Sneed or thing similar) wanted to become a companion but my vote was for D84, although I think keeping him long term would have pushed the humour into OTT land.
nice clip, but the description is a bit off. The robots weren't controlling the spaceship, they (supposedly) served the people running the spaceship. The situation was very similar to the christmas special Voyage of the Damned that someone else mentioned.
my favourite story from the classic series. The story is classic. And the dumbs, vocs and supervocs, the helium, the voice recognition thing...I believe they were drawing from Asimov a bit with this one. Those heavenly host robots in the Xmas special were a rip of these, I reckon.
I have all 44 years of episodes for sale on harddrive.(yes some are reproductions) 763 episodes 215 gigs. Interested, contact me. Fair price, much better than trying to watch old VHS tapes.
Spaceship? It's not a spaceship, BBCWorldwide, it's a mining craft. I suppose it's debatable if it is ALSO a spaceship, but there is nothing in the episode that hints to that in the slightest. Heheh. =P
Besides, we're all dorks for watching this stuff. You did take it to a new level with your spaceship/mining craft complaint and then demonstrated an inability to recognize a joke while exposing a total lack of self confidence; but hey, did the guy who wrote the caption for this video even notice the fake plastic rocks! Just terrible that the BBC can be that inept. They should just take the whole thing down, every last episode!
Leela sure is sexy!

Reminds me of the Doctor and angel Bob's exchange from flesh and stone.
"Well, we've got comfy chairs did I mention?"
"We have no need of comfy chairs."
"I made him say comfy chairs."

You could say the Angels have the feel of the robots
iveseenspikynorman 2 years ago
To the extent that the Angels were a direct reference to the point of the hand getting jammed in the door and coming off.

K-9 was found in "The Invisible Enemy"

Don't you think this is immoral? These episodes don't belong to you.
At the very least, you shouldn't be offering to sell episodes that are currently available on DVD.
