Fighting terrorists with conventional warfare will never work. It's not "proper war" for lack of a better term. It's not two sides shooting at each other, it's blind surprise attacks.

As a proud fervent & well-informed Obama supporter, let me say I agree whole-heartedly with Ron Paul's assessment of the corrupt Fed, & I think RP is a great man & a sincere, virtuous politician.

I also agree the "War on Terror" is a phony power-mongering PR campaign (like War on Drugs), but I believe we CAN win the War on Terror, not by eliminating the threat of terrorism, but by ceasing to be terrified by it. The actual damage on 9-11 pales in comparison to the political misteps that followed.

Yes.  We could also do less bombing and raiding, and instead focus on non-violent humanitarian-oriented missions, but at the same time tell the scared people of America that you will fight, when you're really just gonna clean up and leave, like you should have in the first place.

Crime is worse than terrorism. Why don't they launch a war on crime.... Crime kills MILLIONS more people in the states than terrorism.... Hell heart disease kills more people than terrorism.. why don't they launch a war on hamburgers.
