The dirty and damaged look of that Deception print is definitely a throwback to a different time. Seeing that reminds me that growing up, seeing dirty, beat-up film like this on broadcast television was a very common occurrence in the 1980s. I wonder how old that film print was and where it had been before it aired on Channel 29!
