To są tak wspaniałe i mądre ptaki,że w dwóch słowach nie da się tego o nich powiedzieć.

W tym roku walczyłem o nie,bo zachciało im się remontu bloku.Nie wiadomo,czy wrócą do nas w przyszłym roku.Mam nadzieję,że tak,choć te gniazda przy kuchni wyglądają już inaczej,niż na filmie.Obniżyli rynny i dlatego.Uratowałem jednak wiele innych miejsc lęgowych,do których wracały każdego roku,załatwiłem im nowe otwory na gniazda.Zobaczymy,co z tego wyniknie w 2011r.

@takataminna quick question how fast is it i know the peregrine holds record for 270mph or are they just very fast fliers which i think so becuase they scared me with there speed

@tylepo123456789 According to BBC article from March 2010 "The swift (Apus apus) can power itself to a speed of 111.6km/h (69.3mph) flying horizontally and even upwards.

Other birds, such as peregrine falcons, fly faster while diving in a stoop, but the swift is the fastest accurately recorded flying under its own power."
