@666ChannelNotFound Well I could be wrong and probably am. on Killadelphia there was a dude named Dustin on the tour. When the Walk with me in hell dvd came out, he wasn't on there. I recall Chris picking up a piece of paper that said, I used to know a guy named Dustin.........something something...asshole, or something like that so I just figured thats who they were talking about but I have no idea, just info I gathered up.
@Fluffypopcicle In your words (with the passing) is like your hella sad at first then you get pissed off and mad but then you calm down and are hella peaceful.
yeah, pretty much. it's like ordering a guitar and finding the guitar broken when you get it. at first you're like "oh, man this is a real freak accident, im really upset" and then you figure out that the person who packaged the guitar used cardboard instead of bubblewrap and then you're like "STUPID SACK OF CRAP, IM GONNA KILL THAT MOFO" an then you remember you bought it with a warranty and find the same guitar online for the same price and are now at peace. true story.
I think AILD's new album is the best metalcore album out as of today. But Wrath comes a very, VERY close second. Both albums are brutal, in your face, and extremely melodic at the same time.
@rbjake24 AILD is alright. Wrath is miles above The Powerless Rise in my opinion. I just can't get into the clean vocal melodies in the AILD album. I'd rather take Randy's deep, throaty, and baritone melodies over the singing in AILD. LOG is much more powerful.
@000acr000 i have to say i'm a huge fan of Bullet's first album, and all of Lamb of god's albums, and i think they are both great metal bands, in their own sub-genre of course
@SynVenganceShadows Just no. Just another star by bullet though is a massive rip off of rose of sharyn by killswitch, note for fucking note complete with pick scrape and vocal rhythm too. Bullet are generic garbage, not half the talent of lamb of god.
whole album is fucking sooooo great. i love this album sooo much, so much energy, its just absolute fucking metal. dont download this, buy it because it is worth it, fuck, its worth buying 2 copies XD excellent fucking headbanging ass kicking album \m/ LAMB OF GOD \m/
@wudgeypudger Reclamation, hands down. I really can't even describe that song to people...the best I can do is tell them that when the end of the world comes, that song will be playing.
@90cta395 i agree. when i listen to it all i can picture in my mind is lamb of god standing on this huge pile of rubble looking down as the rest of the earth burns. everybody below is reaching up to them, and they scoff at them as to say i told you so.
when i got wrath, i didnt listen to the album all the way through and i put all the albums on my ipod and went to work and the first time i hear Reclamation i stopped dead in my tracks and listened to it all the way through, it was amazing i could not believe what i was hearing
Everyone downing this has a pathetic basis for criticism that nobody gives a dam about anyhow. Bet ya a nickel you might see em wearin girl's jeans and dancin to avenged sevenfold. Clear a path.... the Wall of Death ensues
@LoganGrant69 dude didnt you hear them they wanted the song to be like a old punk song and 80s punk was just noise and all attitude but that song is insane it isnt just noise it makes you want to rip shit up thats what this type of metal is inteneded for
Wrath is truly amazing, and really added some new things into lamb of god, and what really amazes me, is that they accually managed to put in stuff like acustic guitars, clean guitars, and randy doing a lot more of "heat and fire" then on the previous records, and still, it turned out as, at least i belive, comparing songs and the total sound, the most heavy record they've made under the name Lamb of god. But my ALL time favourite, as a guitarist, is really Ashes of The wake:) Brilliant! Love!
As far as my favorite Lamb of God album goes, it's a toss up between Sacrament and Wrath. I think that Wrath is a stronger album, meaning that the songs throughout the entire album are better, but my favorite song is Redneck. Lamb of God reminds of Pantera in that all their albums have there own personality, yet it still sounds like Lamb of God.
this is an epic album grace has a mad house solo, everything to nothing is my fav on the album broken hands is so brutal and set to fail is epic but i've gotta say that i prefer the album ashes of the wake over wrath
@macintirekyler same here but i still prefer ashes of the wake in fact i love most of Lamb of god's album the only one i don't like is new american gospel but i like terror in the house of frank pollard and the subtle arts of murder and persuasion
Lamb of God have improved alot after each album, even though, they have changed their style a bit between Burn the Priest and and Wrath. But still, I love all of their albums and I think they'll keep on getting better!
I've known of Lamb of God for many years and was never a fan. When this came out I heard Set To Fail. Kinda dug it. I bought the album and am a huge fan. This is the only album I own by them but I have heard the others. This is by far my favorite.
"Only after the last tree is cut and the last river poisoned, only after the last fish is caught, will you find that money cannot be EATENNNN!!!" Reclamation the best song on Wrath.
I have to say that this album is so far my favourite album by lamb of god! their other albums are awesome too but this one is unique!! it definitely ties with, if not beats, ashes of the wake! some of my fav songs from this one are "In your words", "Grace", "The Passing" and "Broken Hands"
The opening instrumental is amazing, anybody from any genre of music has to admit it. It'd be amazing in a movie, when some explorers finally reach some castle or something xD
i can only imagine what the mess was like, especially with your multiple genitals!!! lol my reaction to reclamation was the same. fucking quality song.
I just love those first two lines in Everything To Nothing, the tempo to those lyrics is just awesome in my opinion. Pictureframedobituaryfadedintheattic!
i got hooked when i bought the "modern drummer festival 2005 DVD" and i heard the chris with willie and i was like dang............ im gonna check them out, listen to the vocals and judge to quickly (sad to say) but then stumble across on laid to rest and i was like dang..........lol been a fan ever since
The whole album is great, but two of my personal favorites will be Fake Messiah (thanks to the awesome progression and instrumentation near the end), and Reclamation. Reclamation is probably the best LoG song, it's a bit progressive, nice and long, and is the ultimate showcase of Randy's insane vocal range. They really need to write more songs like Reclamation.
there isn't a single song on this album i don't love, Wrath and Ashes Of The Wake are the two albums that really got me into Lamb Of God and the song Reclamation made me fall in love with them, I honestly cannot wait for more
i heard 'em on a D.C. shoe commercial with danny way droppin in off a helicopter or some shit..i found out who it was went out and bought new american gospel and I was like hooked ever since......great fuckin band.
Man what would i do without Lamb of God. I DONT KNOW. They are the best band out there by FAR! I have no more words to describe how i love this band. Thanks for all the insane music!:D They are beasts live aswell. How can it get any better?
@demonns8 Roadrunner does interviews for it's news called Blabbermouth, which is why you'll see a lot of band interviews with the roadrunner logo come up before it.
@rebelyelleasyrider eer, I just hate Roadrunner. They have very few good bands. Chimaira was one of their best bands but ditched them and signed to Ferret. Much better choice. Idk, I just perfer Prothetic, NuclearBlast, and Metalblade over Roadrunner. They tend to have a better selection.
i liked sacrament much better. aesthetically, rhythmically and production quality-wise. i dont think they'll be able to top that one. wrath is ALL paddle beats and overly ridiculous drum fills. congrats on the no. 2 debut but some of the best tracks on the cd weren't even released on the US version. what the hell guys? >:(
ill soon be posting a reclamation vocal cover so make sure all guys go watch it i know it word for word and have been debating on whether to do it or not but ya check it out i dont look like a metal guy but i am xD
this album was tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sexy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!EVERYTHING TO NOTHING MAKES ME WANNA MURDER SOMEONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
torrents are not killing music there killing those money grabbing record companies, fans will still go to see the band live if its good music, "metal is all about the live experience" (mark morton)
@stevenjw2006 True, also, record sales and cd sales dont really profit the actual band, (they still get royalties and what not, but the record companies def. rake in much more money)
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
pretty sad how people gave me a bad comment review go listen to their previous albums and if you dont agree then you need to stop being such LoG fan boys jesus christ this album fucking sucked get over it
I've been their fan from 2003 I think and this album is easily their best. Come on people, just because it doesn't sound as demonic as As The Palaces Burn, that doesn't make it bad. Its compositions are by far the best-check the scripts if you don't believe it. Only Ashes Of the Wake is on the same level.
yeah i deffinatly love this album but id have to say sacrement is still my favorite though considering im in love with everything song on that album but after that is wrath. they seemed to expand their writing ability on wrath which is pretty cool

@demonns8 I like Rhino at the moment, its coming out of the shadows releasing all the old Pantera albums on their label.

i liked sacrament much better. aesthetically, rhythmically and production quality-wise. i dont think they'll be able to top that one. wrath is ALL paddle beats and overly ridiculous drum fills. congrats on the no. 2 debut but some of the best tracks on the cd weren't even released on the US version. what the hell guys? >:(
Activethrasher00 1 year ago
@Activethrasher00 the whole thought behind Wrath was to make the production more raw than Sacrament :)

in the song? flay you for your insolence
MrKarlosDrummer 1 year ago
torrents are not killing music there killing those money grabbing record companies, fans will still go to see the band live if its good music, "metal is all about the live experience" (mark morton)
stevenjw2006 1 year ago
@stevenjw2006 True, also, record sales and cd sales dont really profit the actual band, (they still get royalties and what not, but the record companies def. rake in much more money)

who are they talkin bout when they say they are no longer friends with this person
paulf93 1 year ago
I've been their fan from 2003 I think and this album is easily their best. Come on people, just because it doesn't sound as demonic as As The Palaces Burn, that doesn't make it bad. Its compositions are by far the best-check the scripts if you don't believe it. Only Ashes Of the Wake is on the same level.
