variable valve timing = VTEC , companies like ford have VTEC , vtec is nothing but variable valve timing if a honda didnt have vtec it wouldnt move , a audi is a well balanced car there chassis are capable of going to 340km/h +, hondas top speed are 160km/h cause there pieces of shit .

If the RS2's turbo was removed (to give more induction equality) and give the accord slicks (to give more traction eqality) then the race would be comparable.
It has a turbo! There is no way to get 560 bho out of a 2.2 l engine! There are two ways supercharger and turbocharger. By the supercharger you would hear it becouse it roars. The turbocharger is more silent but you can hear the whistling noise of the turbo and the pop of valve! So it definitly has a turbocharger. And what should i say? 560 with FWD? It sucks! You´ll get never ending understear.

Erstens das ist ein rs2, zweitens ich habe mehr ahnung als du, drittens du vergleichst ein sportcoupe mit einem stink normalen limo, viertens der 2l kein sportmodell, fünftens du arbeitest nicht bei vw-audi denn du bist ein fernostblock fan. Vergleich mal den 2.2l vtec mit 2.2T s2. Dann reden wir weiter. Übrigens die hondas gehen weit aus öffter kaputt als audi. Das liegt aber an den fahrer die immer denken dass sie den motor immer bis zum anschlag drehen müssen.

Wir reden gerade über den bb3. Den Vti gabs damals noch nicht. Diese 15 Ps mehr bringt den Prelude gar nichts. Dazu kommt noch der Fahrer. Und mal im ernst die Civic-Fahrer sind manchmal zu dämlich. Das kannst du selbst beurteilen! Wieso sollte man mit 170 durch die Stadt jagen? Oder einen überlauten Auspuff einbauen? Oder immer wieder anstatt zu schalten in den Begrenzer drehen? Ich schweige schon wie manche von denen schalten. Klar solche Golffahrer gibt es auch.
@FlamingMoe71 Wenn die schon vtecaufkleber haben drehen den motor so hoch bis er auseinander fliegt. Das ist nutzlos wenn man schon im begrenzer ist dann muss man schalten. Der vtec hilft da auch nicht weiter. :) Und vor allem finde ich sowas von geil wenn, ich meine die die mit billigtuning und überlauten auspuffen, verlieren finden sie immer eine ausrede. "Du hast zu früh gestartet", "Ich hab 500 PS! Du hast eh keine chance ich bin nur diesmal im turboloch gelandet!" usw. :)
@klramon hehe,genau.allerdings würde ich mit so einem honda auch nicht gegen einen RS2 antreten.der läuft ja von natur aus schon 5,5 sek auf 100.ich hatte mal einen S2 avant mit getunten 280 PS ,und der war schon recht fix unterwegs,aber gegen RS2.........:)
Wankelmotoren interessieren mich nicht. Das ist der Motor der keine Zukunft hat. Drehmomentschwach, gefressig, zu kompleziert und der Verschließ der Brennräume ist sogar von der Mazda noch nicht gelöst. Dazu kommt geringer Nutzwert. Bei den Diesel muss nicht nur Ladedrück erhöht werden sondern die Anspritzmenge pro Zeiteinheit optemiert werden. Die die nur Ladedrück erhöhen....
... müssen einen neuen Motor in Kauf nehmen denn die Kopfdichtung ist für andere Temperaturen ausgelegt und bei einer Leistungssteigerung über 20-23% muss ein anderer LLK her. Erstes Auto mit Alukarosse. Keine Ahnung. Auto Union Typ C?

well i dont know bout that. i think 220 bhp should be enough. well maybe 260bhp, but over that you need to do serious mods to get that thing to grip through the gears.. FORD FOCUS RS Complete fail! they went wrong there.

I think it also worth it to buy an Audi S2. It also has quattro and 5 cyl turbo charged engine. They are not so exotic like this RS2 but it is much easier to find. And yeah this S2 is also damn fast!
There's no other V6 NA that can BARELY hold the nsx, no other L4 like the S2000, nobody can extract hp's from a NA engine, SH-AWD is the most advanced AWD system in the world, far, far beyond quattro and x-drive, systems that are pretty well established, Honda took 5 years to take the lead... Honda brought CVCC, VTEC, and i-VTEC, triangulated double arm suspension, directly took from the best F1 in the world, the Mclaren Honda F1... They build the most reliable cars in the world...
triangulated suspension doesn't handel as well as IMHO, plus were not comparing supercars to supercars in this video, take your mclaren honda F1 against something a little more in its current class. these are two cars around the same time just one is able to put out more power than the other. and finally this isn't a v6 car that honda is racing its an inline 5 20v

It has a turbo! There is no way to get 560 bho out of a 2.2 l engine! There are two ways supercharger and turbocharger. By the supercharger you would hear it becouse it roars. The turbocharger is more silent but you can hear the whistling noise of the turbo and the pop of valve! So it definitly has a turbocharger. And what should i say? 560 with FWD? It sucks! You´ll get never ending understear.

Erstens das ist ein rs2, zweitens ich habe mehr ahnung als du, drittens du vergleichst ein sportcoupe mit einem stink normalen limo, viertens der 2l kein sportmodell, fünftens du arbeitest nicht bei vw-audi denn du bist ein fernostblock fan. Vergleich mal den 2.2l vtec mit 2.2T s2. Dann reden wir weiter. Übrigens die hondas gehen weit aus öffter kaputt als audi. Das liegt aber an den fahrer die immer denken dass sie den motor immer bis zum anschlag drehen müssen.

und übrigens is der gleiche motor des prelude auch im accord und das is auch ne normale limo. und wieviel ps hat der 2.2T?und wer sagt das die hondas öfter kaputtgehen? beweise. und das du mehr ahnung hast? das musste auch beweisen. Frage: das erste in serie gebaute auto mit vollaluminium-karosse?

Der letzter Wankelmotor wurde bei RO80 verbaut und die Teilversorgung gehört bereits zu Geschichte! Woran kanns liegen? An den Idioten diese Motoren zusammenschrauben, Schmierfilmabriss bei falschen Bohrung oder flasch angesetzten Dichtungsringer oder falsch eingestellten Motormengment. -> Kapitaller Motorschaden. Da kann einiges schief gehen.

Die Mechanik ist nicht mein Schwerpunkt! Ich studiere BWL aber kein Maschienenbau. Zurück zu deine Frage S2 hat 230 ps mit 2.2T und sogar ohne Turbo wird der 20V den Prelude V-tech platt machen! AKA 185 auf der Vorderachse gegen 170 auf alle 4 Räder!

mechanik is nich deine stärke. ok meine schwäche is die elektronik. welche gründe zum festen motor führen können meinte ich. klar das ein lude gegen ein auto mit 230 turbo ps verliert. aber mach den mund nich zu wiet auf. ein 2.2 vti gegen nen allrad 170pser? grademal im ersten gang geht der audi weg danach is der allrad ne behinderung weil er permanent is. auf drag würde der lude gewinnen. 100%ig!

Wir reden gerade über den bb3. Den Vti gabs damals noch nicht. Diese 15 Ps mehr bringt den Prelude gar nichts. Dazu kommt noch der Fahrer. Und mal im ernst die Civic-Fahrer sind manchmal zu dämlich. Das kannst du selbst beurteilen! Wieso sollte man mit 170 durch die Stadt jagen? Oder einen überlauten Auspuff einbauen? Oder immer wieder anstatt zu schalten in den Begrenzer drehen? Ich schweige schon wie manche von denen schalten. Klar solche Golffahrer gibt es auch.

@FlamingMoe71 Wenn die schon vtecaufkleber haben drehen den motor so hoch bis er auseinander fliegt. Das ist nutzlos wenn man schon im begrenzer ist dann muss man schalten. Der vtec hilft da auch nicht weiter. :) Und vor allem finde ich sowas von geil wenn, ich meine die die mit billigtuning und überlauten auspuffen, verlieren finden sie immer eine ausrede. "Du hast zu früh gestartet", "Ich hab 500 PS! Du hast eh keine chance ich bin nur diesmal im turboloch gelandet!" usw. :)

Wankelmotoren interessieren mich nicht. Das ist der Motor der keine Zukunft hat. Drehmomentschwach, gefressig, zu kompleziert und der Verschließ der Brennräume ist sogar von der Mazda noch nicht gelöst. Dazu kommt geringer Nutzwert. Bei den Diesel muss nicht nur Ladedrück erhöht werden sondern die Anspritzmenge pro Zeiteinheit optemiert werden. Die die nur Ladedrück erhöhen....

There is one big problem (lotrs of little ones) of owning an RS2 as mrchickatees points out it's just an old estate and people tend to get in the way.
0-30 = 1.4 sec
0-60 = 4.8 sec
top speed = 168mph
They stick to corners like glue.
Not bad for an "old 80 estate"

but try not to take it too offensive honda fans, the audi does have a more interesting engine. and is a lot more rarer. i live in the uk and over my random roadtrips, i havent seen an rs2 avant. yet! but i saw accords all over the place. spose its a nicer choose for a family car, but no matter what spec it is. its still an accord im not dissing all hondas. i like the s2000 and the nsx. cause they're a little bit more interesting,but Audi FTW

I think it also worth it to buy an Audi S2. It also has quattro and 5 cyl turbo charged engine. They are not so exotic like this RS2 but it is much easier to find. And yeah this S2 is also damn fast!

There's no other V6 NA that can BARELY hold the nsx, no other L4 like the S2000, nobody can extract hp's from a NA engine, SH-AWD is the most advanced AWD system in the world, far, far beyond quattro and x-drive, systems that are pretty well established, Honda took 5 years to take the lead... Honda brought CVCC, VTEC, and i-VTEC, triangulated double arm suspension, directly took from the best F1 in the world, the Mclaren Honda F1... They build the most reliable cars in the world...

triangulated suspension doesn't handel as well as IMHO, plus were not comparing supercars to supercars in this video, take your mclaren honda F1 against something a little more in its current class. these are two cars around the same time just one is able to put out more power than the other. and finally this isn't a v6 car that honda is racing its an inline 5 20v
