Expanding on mikebrr11's comment, what would be REALLY funny, if you could get the audience to go along with it, would be to tell them "OK, on the count of 3, I want all of you to jump." and then pop the card up at the same time they jump. :-)
what i do is i say to the spectator is"okay on three im gonna need you to say "jump" okay so (while getting ready) 1...2....3.... *jump*,is that ur card" i get funny faces and comments every time
I noticed that I had difficulty slipping off my index finger.. The reason was when the card gets forced to bend down, it touches the area between my thumb and my index.
In your vid you showed a resolution to this but you didn't exactly mention it. It was at 0:57~1:00, where you showed the card on top sticking out, there SHOULD be a visible hole between your hand and the deck, I figured that the larger that hole is, the easier it is to slip the index off.
Ya know, I've been wanting to practice this lately, but haven't spent the time to. I'm glad you posted this clip, cause you just saved me hours of trial and error! Thank you. I'll post another comment later about if i can actually do this or not :)
ok, so for the first few tries the card either doesn't fly out of the deck, or if it does fly out, it beans me between the eyes... hmmm looks like its time for more practice.... :)
Be careful not to card cut your eyes WorldsWorstMagician. I'm telling you man, you don't wanna be blind in addition to having tiny hands. You'll just be making the handling of card tricks that much harder for yourself. ;-) LOL
