Did anybody realise that there's somebody behind the piano in the middle (4th from left)? Who's that? The conductor? Do they have time to look up at his directions anyway?
WOW :O ! Now thats something you DONT see everyday! Much be hard to keep timing. I played in a group , but only 2 of us.And it still was super hard!Thank you for posting this! :D
yes I know it's slow! but it's kind of difficult to play it any faster & have all the boys stay together...let me remind you that there are ten boys playing at the same time, & these boys are in high school & they are volunteering their time to be apart of this. They are not professional pianists.
i am the same person who posted before asking who posted this, i just had to create a new account. I was just wondering because i have done these concerts since i was eleven...so about ten years total now. i didnt participate in this one in japan but still do the ones in CA.
that's really cool! I've done a couple in Sacramento, but I had to stop because my school changed its schedule so we start in the middle of August...so I did the one in Japan eventhough I missed three weeks of school for that one!
For Suzuki piano, every 2 years there is a 10 piano concert. It's 10 pianos being played at the same time. This 10 piano concert was in Matsumoto, Japan, but there are ones in Sacramento, CA. The concert consists mostly of Suzuki piano songs with the exception of more advanced songs. Also, students from the states can travel to Japan to perform in a concert & vice versa. I was able to travel to Japan this past April to perform, & it's tradition that the Turkish March is played by all men.

if you knew anything about playing with 9 other pianists you might understand why we practice it so slow.
