@dannylau328 Yes, I agree East Coast drivers are douchebags, but that's how it is for just about every large city. Yeah, some roads suck, but the roads worth driving for pleasure are damn near flawless. Crime is a social problem more than anything, and in decent areas, it isn't bad. The power never goes out during earthquakes, and they only last a few seconds. SoCal tsunamis are jokes..they're not even a concern.

Oh, and since I'm a permanent resident of Hong Kong, I'm the HK$6,000 handout too.

Actually, Singapore has the highest concentration of millionaires and billionaires in the world at 15.5%. Hong Kong is #4. I've lived in a Pacific Place apartment suite for a few months. It was nice, and so was the mall below, no doubt about that, but that doesn't make the rest of Hong Kong nice..

I can go canyon carving on some of the best driver's roads in North America and stop by a shooting range for a break. Or I could take a cruise down PCH. If I wanted to go shopping, maybe I'd just go to one of countless many malls. And damn near everything minus real estate and gas is cheaper in Hong Kong.

@dannylau328 Oh and you're right that I'm not a city boy, but I'm definitely not a country boy...I didn't know Asian country boys even existed. I prefer suburban living to a city. I don't find over-densely populated areas appealing, I don't know how anyone could. I also like decent weather, not 90 degrees, 80% humidity, and thunderstorms all in the same forecast. There's typhoons to deal with too.

All I see is possible land to develop to ease the massive overcrowding of Hong Kongs cities. And HK is also 1/4 the size of Long Island and less than 1/2 the size of Orange County. Most of NYC is a dirty shithole too, I agree with that. But there's 5th, Madison, and Park Avenue where only the rich and famous live, so that makes it all better, right?

@dannylau328 Oh, and the damp trashy smell covers all of Hong Kong, mainly because of the humidity. The disgusting weather isn't limited to the shitty parts of Hong Kong. The road system doesn't get any better either, everyone still sucks at driving and cuts everyone else off. Yes, some places of Hong Kong can be nice, but they're few and far between, while the vast majority is still very shitty. Kinda hard to stay solely in the nice areas, considering how small the territory is.

LOL you paid 10 million for an apartment in Hong Kong? You can get a 10,000 square foot beachfront mansion in the Hamptons for less. "Nice" areas still have that damp musky scent and 5 star hotels often look like shit from the outside. The usually overcrowded MTR sucks ass..well..so does any form of public transportation there.. I'm the person who flies to and from that shithole in first class.

Even people in utter shitholes like Fan Ling drive NEW sportscars or luxury cars.

i'm from HK and i think this video is just excellent !! I found that u've been to Central and Tsim Sha Tsui for most of the video, they are the 2 of the 3 busiest district in HK, however its a pity that u didnt go to Causeway Bay which is the third busiest place in HK, there are some streets where u can see at least 10 Benz S-class or Lexus LS460 in a minute (i'm serious) and its not uncommon to see a phantom and maybach!!! (sorry for my poor english)
