  • I.m.o. there are two reasons why traditional music of distant people are so close. First is historical - Indo european people have music in common. The second one is musical. All ancient traditional music is modal and based on natural harmonics which are universal. In every sound, you may hear its respective 8th, 5th, 8th, 3th... and with refernce to a droen. This is the base on which every traditional music builds, of course in different ways.

  • ... ribumbà per la Balagna ... !

  • Corsica=Georgia!!!! Same ethnomusica

  • I'm schocked.....i love eastern music, i've listened to many Georgian songs (Hamlet Gonashvili for example) but i can't understand this similarities with Corsican music at all! I think that the best answer is one: Bizantine Empire and unbelivable influence of it's culture and music.
