No more than in a Chinook, for example. The only significant difference is that the 2 rotors are much nearer. Otherwise I think the physics are simpler since the precession of each rotor is cancelled by the other. The most complex part is probably the yaw command as it must act on blade pitches alone to generate the differential torque required.
they are very expensive to fly, and you must goto k-max school before you can

thats one ugly helicopter but its very powerful and have an awesome sling load lifting capability. thats all that matters.
