@Vladimirorlov1989 Thank you very much for watching. I think this organ sounds good because the scale of the 16 and 8 foot stops are much more generous than for most small organs, especially modern small organs. I think this makes it possible to play a wide range of repertoire on it effectively. Best wishes!
I made my recording; however, I need to make a better one :)...Two and a half weeks playing it needs another three to five to really shape it up :)...
@britandveg Hi Brittany! I've enjoyed your performance very much! The only way I can manage to get a handle on a piece like this is through lots of slow practice with broken rhythm techniques. Great job!
Excellent playing! The only thing this lacked was more reverb. Having said that, you did a great job with articulation considering you had no reverb to hide behind. I play this piece myself and for some reason I always find the final flourish at the end tricky. But you made it sound effortless
Bravo! You play Dupre very well. Nice articulation, and as far as I could tell, not a single note out of place! Bet you'd love to play this on a four-manual monster with a 30-second reverberation, though......LOL
@jazzkeyboardman - 30-SECOND REVERB? Even St Paul's Cathedral in London (where I first heard this piece, with a stunning five-manual Father Smith/Father Willis/Willis III/Mander), one of the world's biggest acoustics, can only be pushed to 11 by use of EVERYTHING...
@AnOrganCornucopia I know, it's a physical impossibility. Did you not see the "LOL" at the end of my comment? Strictly tongue-in-cheek. It's like saying "That's a whole cow" when you behold a 30 oz. steak.......LOL!!
I've listened to most of your videos and I must say that I really like the sound of the organ. It is so rich and powerful!

I'm learning this piece right now...It is so super hard! Just when you think the arpeggiations might be similar, they change!

I begin to adore Dupré ! The chord at 2:14 sounds to be put out of the hells.
