  • did the bird die?

  • new killstreak for destroying planes in mw2 lol :P

  • fuck angry birds this is angry planes!

  • that bird was using Nokia maps.

  • instant kiil for poor bird

  • omg in which feet was it

  • that bird will have a massive headache

  • The bird forgot to put his sunglasses on!

  • Airplane says "I Win!"

  • Who threw that rock?

  • Fatality!!

  • KO

  • just a hint....that hole in the wing isn't caused by bird strike....It's where the landing lights are located on each wing

  • @hypersonicaurora well, the aibus has its landing lights beneath the fuselage, that hole was caused by "instant chicken nuggets"

A Boeing has its landing lights embedded in the wing, but a little closer to the fuselage.

  • @foxlima oh yeah my bad...I thought it was a B777 but lateron I found out it was an airbus loool..fool me!

  • lol. We humans dreamed of being able to fly like birds but now we're just showing off xD

  • KAMIKAZEE!!!!!!

  • wow in that alltitude?

  • It was my understanding that everyone had heard that the bird is the word

  • tell me thats justin bieber

  • @paulskateboard123 no it's not you..

  • @thefirsthater u suck

  • for you guy's who wonder, he's speaking swedish in this video!!!

  • EWWW

  • Correction on my post : European Storks, ( Ciconia ciconia ) summer all over Europe, not just Northern Europe, but do go as far north as Estonia.

Many thousands nest in Germany, France, Spain and the rest of Europe.

When winter approaches they fly to many nations in Africa. They do fly very high as stated before. Sierra Cuban.

  • These are European White Storks, ( Ciconia ciconia ) in their yearly migration....

They summer in Northern Europe as far north as Estonia, and spend the winter in Africa between the Sahara and South Africa.....They normally fly between 4000 to 5000 feet, but once were observed in Sudan at over 10,000 feet elevation......

Sierra Cuban, Miami, Florida, Estados Unidos de América.

( Looks like some made it alive out of the collision. )

  • I've said it once before and I wont say it again as an apprentice ASM (aircraft structural mechanic), pure aluminum is weak. It's too soft fort mechanical and structural components. Suppliers do no cheap out on aircraft grade aluminum alloys, they have strict standards to follow in order to make an aircraft airworthy by the FAA. I don't know how you got it in your head that alloyed aluminum makes it "cheaper" than pure aluminum, that's simply not true. Aluminum alloy is widely used in modern...

  • FAA was probably all around this ...

  • hahahaahhahahahha!!!!!!!

  • that bird was high as a...plane

  • @myrandomspaces hahaha

  • Well if people started making planes out of REAL metals, instead of paper you wouldnt have to worry about some punk bitch segal putting holes in it.

  • @smartass2st by REAL you mean other than aluminum? that my friend, would be to heavy.

  • @NIGHTEHAWK Actually there are different types of aluminum. The more you mix aluminum with other metals to save money, the weaker the aluminum becomes. Pure aluminum is very strong, but would cost tripple the ammount of money.

  • @smartass2st Your telling me something i already know.

  • @NIGHTEHAWK from your last comment, it didnt seem like it.

  • @smartass2st Weaker? The aluminium itself only has a Mohs hardness of 2.75. Even raw iron is harder than that.

Pure aluminium is useless in any kind of mechanic use. It is always used with an alloy with another metal.

  • @huracan200173 Exactly.

  • @smartass2st Stop talking here, and educate yourself a little. Pure aluminum is extremely WEAK and malleable! They don't mix (or "alloy" as we say it) other metal elements to save money or make it weaker, they do that (along with heat treating) to make it stronger while retaining the lightweight characteristics of the major alloy, which is 99.00% aluminum. The rest of the .00% is alloying elements. While I'm no metallurgist, I learned this stuff in aviation sheet metal.

  • @joshnc101 Actually pure aluminum is NOT very weak. Its not as weak as pure metals like gold. And nobody really cares if you call it an alloy. It dosnt make you sound any smarter. It just makes you sound like you spend too much time on google. And YES when they mix it with other metals they tend to go on the cheap side and make it just as weak. Ur gonna tell me that they dont do that to save money. You're just ignorant to the fact that suppliers want to save money and make MORE money.

  • @smartass2st I've said it once before and I wont say it again as an apprentice ASM (aircraft structural mechanic), pure aluminum is weak. It's too soft for mechanical and structural components. Suppliers do no cheap out on aircraft grade aluminum alloys, they have strict standards to follow in order to make an aircraft airworthy by the FAA. I don't know how you got it in your head that alloyed aluminum makes it "cheaper" than pure aluminum, that's flat out false. I didn't learn this from google.

  • @smartass2st yeah man, that punk bitch steven segal needs to learn when to quit punching holes in our planes.

  • ooo lucky they didn't hit in the engine!

  • You know the recession's hitting everybody hard when al-Qaida cuts back on suicide bombers and degrade to birds.

  • @6V92TA haha

  • Yup !

  • its a suicide bomber but it forgot its bomb?

  • lol you can see very well how fast the plane is going..

  • as you can see the birds were trying to get away from the bigger bird, but they didnt have a clue that the airbus was bearing down on the from 6oclock. rip! ahaha

  • you are so stupid!

  • Comment removed

  • is that bird from AFGANISTHAN tryin to kill people in aircraft

  • swedish news

  • Looked like a flock of migrating white storks. Amazing that they fly that high.

  • sad litle birds..

  • dumb chicken

  • Had any of those birds ended up in the engine this vido would not be on youtube today.

  • Not necessarily, these large aircraft are rated to fly on one engine should one fail, they would land at the nearest feasible airport is all =)

  • is the bird going to be ok?

  • Sir...I hate to break the news to you...but we were unable to save her... R.I.P - Bird

  • lol

  • yeah.... very ok

  • my car hit a bird once on the freeway...i found blood and feathers stuck all the way back on the radiator fan

    what a mess

  • AHhAhAha I had the same man :D

Right Treugh the Grill against my Radiator !!

  • pretty awsome :L

  • Die birds die!

  • I wonder if the US Airways plane that ditched in the Hudson River was an act of revenge by the birds in retaliation for this incident.

  • Suicide Bombers lol

  • @sthill1993 Yeah sucide bombers like ozama LoL xD

  • clutch videotaping

  • OMG the bird was cutting to 100 peases

  • lol WHAM!

  • HOLY CRAP!!!! JUICY!!!

  • echt nett

  • ah the aviation experts from youtube. maybe you ALL should do a little more research before posting. it'll make you appear less ignornt.

  • Dam it was like a swarm of em!

  • Ahahah owned :D

Squished in pieces and turned into a bbq :D

  • Those birds were like WTF JUST HAPPENED>?

  • you stupid dogs... pore bird... r.i.p. ...

  • stupid bird , poor people . what the hell kind of priorities do you have, do you fly , have you... and then if you were the bird , would you keep flying at an object a million times your size , makeing crazy loud noises.... wtf . i love animals too, but..maybe the airport needs to get hawks , or speakes , but the world isnt changed by a few dead birds , they are over populated .. peoples lives lost/fam lives ruined , dont , fly , dont use mail , dont buy food , dont appreciate military.

  • hahahahahahaha

bird got owned .. you guys are funny

  • the bird was in dying need of attention.. guess what, it appeared on youtube and were all watsching it!! great job bird! R.I.P :P

  • DIED the BIRD??????????????????

  • yoda ?????????????? :P

  • Bird Got OWNED

  • I guess when the passengers saw poultry on the dinner menu for that flight, they never would have believed it was going to be THAT fresh.

  • i think it was a gull

  • birdstrike looks serious and they usually take out a engien with a bang, but most planes will continue or just make a shot landing to get technicians to look at the engien and then we are off again .-)

  • its so scary because a birdstrike can happen at anytime.

that is something that is not human/aircraft error.

when a birdstrike happens, it happens.

    and thats the scary part.

i hate birdstrikes, thats what i get scared of the most when flying.

a damn 3lb bird can bring down an entire jet!

  • Not necessary. A plane with 2 engines can fly with 1 safely. A plane with 4 engines can fly with 2 safely. If ALL engines go out, the plane will glide down. A 737 Plane has a glide ratio of, 10:1. That means for every 10 feet they are up in the sky, they can glide 1 mile! THATS ALOT!!!! PLANES are SUPER SAFE mate.

  • thanks for the information.

i feel a lot more safe now. :)

  • You're almost correct. But if the glide ratio was the ratio of altitude (x10) to distance, as you've described it, that would mean a plane at a mere 1000 feet could fly 100 miles. Obviously that's impossible. Glide ratios are the other way around - the ratio of horizontal distance traveled to the vertical distance descended. But yes, a 10:1 is still pretty good (and a lot of commercial planes will get 12 or 15 to 1, which is even better).

  • But if all engines are out, you have had it, right? If all engines fail and you're at 30,000ft, and there is an airport/airstrip within 10 miles, you're not going to get down in one piece. ???

  • No, you just circle around a lot until you lose all that altitude. The point is, if you are going to lose engines, you want to do it as high as possible, so that you have more landing options as your plane gradually descends.

  • But as you lose the horizontal speed you are going to start going nose down surely ??? Or drop quickly at least. i can't envisage something like a large commercial jet gliding down safely. I don't know, maybe they do, but I always thought with all engines out it's curtains.

  • I see your confusion now. Think of it this way: the engines keep the plane flying by keeping its forward speed up (which generates lift on the wings). But you can replace that source of forward speed with any other and get the same result. If the pilot shuts the engines but lets the plane continually lose some altitude, gravity will pull on it and speed it up, so there'll still be some forward speed for lift. It will descend, but only as fast as it would in a normal controlled descent.

  • you dont just drop, and an airplane does 10 miles in 30 seconds or so.

  • Can anyone give an example? Has this happened? Is there an example of a flight during which both engines went out at say over 20,000ft and the plane got down ok?

  • honestly , im not one to say , im sure there must be though ... i just happend to watch this , but lets sa you start to dead drop , id think you could almost aim down, get speed , and pull up enough to continue forwards , id think at 20K feet , you could make it over 100 miles in a plane , they(passenger transit planes) fly from 300-500 mph so over 20 minutes your there....idk honestly though .

  • Canadian airbus ran out of fuel, glided ( from cruise ) Landed at a disused airfield. that was about 10 years ago.

  • Found a cracking site with all the answers. Google 'ask captain lim'

  • Aye! the gimly glider.....

I was 5 miles away from the crash area, and i saw the aircraft while they were doing there investigation.

  • well what about in america?? the hudson river crash, dont know how high it was but it got a double bird strike.

  • Look up the Gimli Glider

  • read up on Air Transat glider....that thing glided well over 100 miles and got down on the runway.

  • In aircraft dosent do 10miles in 30 seconds.....

  • check your math . show me im wrong ...

  • I checked. Airplane goes at 550mph on cruise or more.

At 550mph, its 9.166666 miles per minute.

    That's only 4.5833333 miles every 30 seconds.

10miles every 30 seconds would be 1200 miles per hour.

    That's around 1000 knots.

That is WAY over the stress that an passenger airplane could take. That is why your math is wrong.

  • no doubt , i stand corrected . still though , you dont just drop, and its all altitude/weight dependednt , i dont fly , dont plan or it either ( LOL ) . and dont want to come off like a know it all . good info though.

  • yea i know it doesnt drop. and yes, its all altitude/weight dependent, and also aerodynamics dependent. it sucks that there are too many factors that contribute to how far an airplane could fly when the engines shut off :/

  • you are a fucking idiot.

  • go fuck yourself . your the fucking idiot.. just because you got all that from letting michael jackson molest you doesnt mean shit on other epople you know nothing about . your a internet tough guy i guess, keep thinking your cool there brenda....lil sissy , go get your mom drunk like we did last year and fuck her in the ass for me once too...douche bag.....i messed up, im man enough to admit it , but your just a jerk off. not my fault you have a babies dick and your 30 and live with mom

  • lol stay in school, study hard, god bless

  • fuck you ... why call me out and then say that shit punk.... im a pretty straight up guy , dont fuck with people you dont know, especially when they admitted to a mistake... just a dick move...and i type fast , im not a moron , we all mess up , dont pull that shit... why not bring some insight about the video, make a valid point , nothing youve said is related . and who are you to talk shit in general. again , you just come off like a dick..

  • haha, I lol'd at you!

  • shit man, you made me lol again!

  • why because i made an error , go fuck yourself.... the fact that i admitted a mistake in another comment i think speaks of my character, if im wrong im man enough to admit it, but people like you are just rediculouse and if anything i laugh at you ....i dont fly , never will , and i made a mistake... at least im not a douche bag like you. keep thinking your cool...but your not...

  • and what made you laugh , whats soooo damn funny ....

  • You! and you still make me laugh!

  • in 0:08 is this blood?

  • Noooo It's Special Effects Dude... Airbus Entertainment..

  • your an idiot!

  • lol that bird was gone lol

  • that's novair, right?

do you have the full movie?

  • one ore two storks? what do you reckon?

  • rofl, this can engine failure too!! fucking birds.

  • LAWL

  • Your an idiot
