@kwbdwino78 " . . . I ain't seen a casino check yet." Open the signature restaurant to seven nights a week, get a casino marketing company and throw KBC out of running the casino, and we may see a check one day. Right now, the casino is being run on the socialist model. It's not working. The Las Vegas model works. The KBC is afraid to try it, apparently. We talk about the bravery of our Kiowa forebears. And then we sit around and watch Indian politics drive success into the toilet.
to keep away swine flu, Health Canada sends medical goods with (( body bags!!)), to native communities!! the Native community is outraged!! and some dumb dudes in Health Canada gonna be the newbies at Harveys!!
@acerb45666555 Be very scared of vaccines. Some whites are trying to take over the world. In Africa, in order to get the pure water that they charge money for, women are forced to have vaccines that make them miscarry their pregnancies, and leave them sterile. Be careful. Especially of your girls. Teach them about birthcontrol, sure, but don't accidently make them sterile. If the doctor's won't give their own kids the vaccine, don't give it to your kids.
And also i have been told by elders at the drum and various other ppl that the kiowa flag song comes from the arapaho's flag song. beckuz they were both composed by the same guy.
When I was little I remember Uncle Keahbone wearing his black leggings with the ankle bells and the strap of bells down the side. He was so sweet to me, but I asked my mom why he wore such a different outfit (this was the 1960's not the '20's) And I learned about the black leggings society and how the battle was so close that the gunpowder darkened the warriors legs. I'd moved away, but then I moved into Lawrence KS, and saw the black leggings again, it made me cry.
I agree, and I want to tell you something. Some of these songs are older than we imagine. Once (about 1972)at my folks place when I was a kid, My dad sang a round dance song(He's Quapaw). My friend (Apache) John started grinning. He said "No this is how WE sing that song-you sing it wrong." He sang, and our Athabaskan guest from Alaska, said, "No -you're both wrong, this is how it goes." Alaska to the border of Mexico? No recordings? I wonder if the Aztecs sing it too. It wouldn't shock me.
okay well ther alot of history bout that..its originaly kiowa.. great grandpa kiowa charley cozad Sr. composed it wit da kiowa words first den gave to comanches.then they made words to it. there not stealing..ask your grandparents..

This song is really simular to the arapaho flag song...they were composed by the same person. the leads are almost EXACTLY THE SAME.

@beastshawnee This is a good story. We are distinct, yet we can share. I get tired of this tribal one-ups-man-ship.
