Thanks for the info,I just got accepted into the nursing program and wanted to know what was the hardest class for you in the first semester and which was the easiest? Thanks for everything.
Even though I don't know you and we are 2000 miles apart, I feel like I know you. I am currently in the LPN program in my area. I went back to school after 25 years!! Yes, I am in my mid forties. I LOVE IT!! I would never lie and say it's easy, but I love every moment. This is what I was created to do, and I just want to let people know that it takes dedication. If you are not 100 percent committed, find another profession.
(Delaware) I'm a male, and have 1 more semester left. We have 5 guys in our class who are all doing amazing. I am also a single papa. It can be hard to balance. I do the majority of my studing at night and during my son's nappy naps. The way I look at it, if I time to be reading a magazine I should be studying. As long as you stick to the 50min study, and atleast a 10min break before going back to studying, you'll retain this nonsense. lol Good luck, hope everyone finds there motivation.
Hey Dude. I graduated 2008 and still haven't taken my boards. I'm pretty positive I'v forgotten everything I learned in nursing school. Is there any hope or should I just say "chali". Its downright depressing Bro.
@SuperMadklown lol that's cute. I know you must be living in fairy land. I know that it is sexist and illegal but that's the way it is. Just like white ppl get paid more than black ppl for doing the same job. I've seen it but I'm not mad though I just thought that you would give a real answer.
@YUUOOYUO Fairy land?... show me one place that pays 1 gender or race more. i gurantee they would be shut down instantly.. all that person has to do is complain and its over for that company.. NO a male does not make more then a female and NO a female does not make more then a male. that is the real answer dumbass.
@SuperMadklown Ok where is the professionalism? The tone comes off as a little personal. The name calling is not necessary but I'm not mad at you though. I just know what I know.
Im a 19 year old male jst passed my NCLEX PN and im currently taking my bridge program for my ADN and i only had like 3 other guys in my class and 2 of them were married and one was cheating on his wife with a fellow student in our class so it was actually pretty amusing being around women and hearing what they have to say about different situations :)
any pointers on what I should expect the 1st year and what I should be doing now? Will I be taught these math skills in college? And if so is it hard to grasp? Sorry for throwing all these questions on you, you just seem knowledgeable.
I am just finishing up my ged.. I will be starting college this fall and I am scared outta my mind. The math part is all I have left b4 I start school and I have been studying like crazy.. I want to be a nurse but I am afraid that my lacking in math skills will make me fail.. I really know nothing about college.. Like what I do the first year and what not. I think some1 told me that you just do basic school the first year or something kind of like High school..
@moni22poni Thats a very good question, well we have ups and downs like everybody else does but when there was down time from nursing we would utilize that time wisely and go out for dinner or chill watch a movie..
You know what I think Im going to do a video on that because its tough balancing that with fam and nursing school.
@moni22poni After my first quarter of nursing school, I met my husband. We got married 3 quarters later. My grades did drop a bit and I failed a class. Second to last quarter of nursing school I got pregnant. Grades dropped even further to just at passing.and took the NCLEX at 36 weeks pregnant. I found out I passed and got my liscense a week before I gave birth. Was it hard? Yeah. Is it possible? Of course. Was it worth it? DEFINITELY.

Does males make more money than female? Were you a CNA first?
YUUOOYUO 2 months ago
@YUUOOYUO no... gender does not matter, that would be sexist and is illegal to pay one gender more then another.

@YUUOOYUO if you already know then why you even asking the question... a hospital cannot pay a woman or man more then the other thats common sense.
