This doesn't matter,

I have learned about 5 different Spins yet (this will be the 6th)

, some are focused on spinning on heel, other on toe.

I would avdice spinning on your toe, it may need more practise, than heel-spinning,

but you will be able to spin much faster and longer =)

Anyways, practise both (toe and heel) and decide after mastered them ;P

MJ's arms aren't positioned like how you're doing it to spin (although it looks good) He slightly uses one arm and spins of the momentum of that turn. His hands are held together as hes spinning also which you'll notice he's been doing from his early years. Oh and in addition to being on a smooth surface, adds more spins. Check the videos if you don't believe me.
