I'm a huge fan of vampire hunter d and I've read a few novels about vhd and the art looks pretty amazing in the manga. I think they should make a cool animated series or movie of this that would be great as long as they don't ruin it...

Thanks for the info. I still doubt I'll be able to accept a D that wasn't drawn by Yoshitaka Amano but I'll give it a chance.

As an added update, Saiko Takaki was chosen personally to adapt the manga, and had previously done doujinshi. The D fandom in Japan is apparantly fairly tightly knit.

I've been looking forward to this since I heard the announcement.

I agree, but Amano's art is always art, not manga. Though if he were to do a manga, it'd probably have been D.

Don't be fooled but the manga' BUTT UGLY computer colored cover. The art inside is a lot nicer.
