Unconventional warfare the isurgents don't have to win they just have to keep fighting recuit more people to make up there losses. I am glad that our combat troops are out of Iraq. afganistian is were we should have been concentrating instead of spending so much on iraq al queda is like fighting the mafia many nationalities associated with each other and they hate us just for existing. Its better to fight the extremist there than here at gas stations and hospitals.

@sass225 I lost a cousin in this conflict. the solders go were our elected government sends them. The fact that the government has manage to foil there attempts to hit us here again means that what our solders and CIA are doing is working the bomb on the brooklin bridge and other attacks stopped without us casulties.

So some posted on here they were there? Korangal? So question is how often were you allowed to move and hunt and kill. In this video, the platoon was going to a meeting with village elders? I have seen many others where troops were held in FOB or close to in outspost? Rarely do I see offensive action, as here contact is answered and broken off? So I guess question is, were you held off tactics wise to minimize casualties?

We are allowing the enemy and the populace to dictate our behaviour. We place our COPs at the bottom of mountains so the locals will want to meet us, but this is against thousands of years of established military doctrine.We are wasting American lives on people who don't want our help and don't deserve it.
