The pure mechanical ones are possible to get at an acceptable price. Especially the ordinary ones. High quality mechanicals however can be priced quite high too.
Btw. Have fixed the battery. Made my own pack from 4 x 1/3AA industrial cells - at a fractional cost of an original.
