  • Frankie never overcame his father's disloyalty to his wife. I saw his anti-Abortion film which incited violent reactions, a diatribe he initiated, like this one. The openly-racist, anti-white Obama administration deals a severe blow to our Nation; Dr. King is unsettled in his rest. The "entitled" Chicago thuggery now in office, and unfortunately is empowered to effect the entire country's self-view. Judging by skin-colour has now come to roost thanks to Revs Farrakhan, and Wright.

  • He's a bit verbose, but he speaks sense...

  • It's encouraging to think that a man like Schaffer, who was at the centre of the fundamentalist movement, can come to his senses. Now, if he can only convince the spin doctors behind the GOP.

  • Of course we now know that no one yelled "kill him" when Sarah Palin was speaking. But instead Sarah has been the target of a smear campaign by the Left, including Frank Schaeffer. Has Frank apologized to Sarah yet? And we also know that Obamas poll ratings have fallen to a level below George Bush during this time of his presidency.

  • Daddy Schaeffer would be so disappointed in his son. Too bad, Frank, hopefully you'll get your act together before meeting daddy again.

  • Wish I had read this 10 months ago. It was well written and well spoken. I just hope you really mean the thoughts and ideals expressed here and aren't just spreading more GOP type reactionary fear in order to boost your book sales. Time will tell.

  • Well said and gives us all something to think about....left, right or center...we all need to evaluate what is said by others and think. Yes, we need to think. And most importantly we all need to stay very far away from Sarah Palin...she is indeed a dangerous woman!

  • A man with sense and reason ..... well said sir ...

  • Yeh, I disgreed with McCain before, but I still thought he was a better man than the monkey (you know him as George W). But he sold out this time. He is now tossed into the garbage bin of history.

  • Stands up and applaudes the speaker in the video. Hats off to you sir, very well stated.

  • Didn't know about that letter - it's very well written!

  • rujimbob351 said " is guy is as much of a Republican as you all are. While he's condemning McCain for not denouncing others' attacks on Obama, when did Obama denounce the slanderous comments against McCain that spout from media and his supporters? the most thing that happened at Obama's ral" :they showed the booing at Obama's rally's and he waived his hand and said none of that we just need to vote. I don't compare this to the hate at Mccain/palins Remaining character count:

  • We're not a democracy - it's not majority rule. But this guy's letter was very well written and spoken, and I do agree with his concerns in terms of the rage McCain pushes in his ads. However, I have the same concerns about an Obama administration, in terms of causing a civil war and rage, because of the philosophy Obama (and Democrats) have about government, and the one this nation was actually founded upon (Constitutional Republic.) 4 rough years, either way.

  • WOW he just made the case for really taking a step back and think about what is going on in our country and what we have let grow in this country AGAIN. If we are not careful hate will rear again in or communities. Principals are deep and well thought out, think about what you say about others and think for yourself, investigate for yourself and seek the sages of yesterday to understand who you are, who we are, and what we as people are supposed to be doing here together.

    ONE LOVE

  • biggaththebwatever. wonderful that mccain fathered a african american.we all know that. have u heard any of this video? this person is mad because mccain wont stand up for obama even if they are agaisnt each inthis race. u still need to make a stand if someone is going to be mindless and call him a terrorist.and even if he was a islam or muslim. whats wrong with someones race? just cause of his skin color means nothing. the way he acts is another thing.america is supposed to accept not reject.

  • McCain/Palin will be responsible if anything

happens to this great man Obama!

  • This guy just articulated everything I have been wanting to say in his letter to MCcain. I would hold him and Palin personally responsible if anything bad happened to Obama now. They are out there just stirring up the HATE,and it's scary...

  • McCain fathered an illegitimate black child.

  • Hey yea..... Remember that?!

  • THERE IS A GOD! This video must be spread, EVERYONE MUST SEE THIS!

Wow... I am tearing up right now hearing someone from the republican party of hate, speaking out about McCain's slander campaign.

  • Excellent letter!

  • Excellent response! Obama has said many times that he is pro-choice but not pro-abortion. That is the point. Pro-life and pro-choice advocates CAN agree on one thing. We can do what we can to lessen the number of abortions. Thereby, making having an abortion a non-issue. That is the point of choice. You can choose to have it or not. Obam is trying to reduce the chances of someone making the choice of abortion by giving them reasons to avoid making that decision in 1st place.

  • I think MCCain's career in the Senate is over. I can't see him getting the kind of support and admiration that he always had (justifiaby or not).

  • Boy, do I agree with you on this - I respected him highly until his started this gutter campaign.

  • I saw some of those Nazi bund rallies for Mccain/Pallin - Those facists are truly disgusting

  • Finally! A Republican who remembers rational thought. Many thanks for posting this.

  • How refreshing, inspiring and very scary.

  • AMEN! There is True Hope for This country and others in the world who want to Respect us.

  • I am pleased to see a sensitive republican your points are correct!

  • Great letter.

  • It was getting crazy... The American people just don't like Obama... McCain had to tone it down a little, or there would jave been men with torches looking for Obama...

  • It is refreshing to listen to this. It gives me hope. Thanks.

  • Very insightful.

  • Well said!!!

  • Great to know there is a rational republican.

  • Me Too!

  • This was excellent. I like this guy..
