  • Great combination man, the Stingray with Trace Elliot amps. I really want the same rig but can't afford it, or justify it right now.

  • hey guys, im looking in to getting a bass mainly for slap, but am unsure of that kind i should get for a beginner slap bass, at a reasonable price . any help would be great. thanx

  • @Depraved6 well you can play slap style on most basses man it doesnt really matter but ive found jazz bass copies to be very good for slapping but that is just a prefference try slapping on any bass you can and see whats comfortable for you

  • @Depraved6 you can use any bass for slap. jazz basses and musicmans sound best. although you can pretty much slap on any bass

  • Haha excellent!!!

  • The tone is high. One of the problems really with a SUB bass. Same problem i found with the Stingray basses I've had too, not enough ooooomph in the middle. I have a Musicman Bongo 5 (amongst others) and thta's far better.

  • well, the stingray have only one pickup, and the pick up is near the brigde, so that explain why the sound is to high.

  • oh my! amplificators! a little high tone for mi likeness

  • it sounds a little weird but with out the "phaser" it wouldn't sound as weird!!!

  • the bass tone is weird...

  • suck ass tone.
