This test is to see how effective is the lower impact bar on the truck/trailer...nothing to do with the car. You can see that the car & the truck is centre to centre, no offset.

Normal crash test for cars are done at 40/60% offset...where 40% of the car frontal will have to absorb the total impact force. Even a Volvo will destroy at least half of its bonnet on 40% offset at 61km/h.

What a joke. And why are cars in Malaysia always so dangerous? Our 2002 Citroen Xsara has 6 airbags IIRC, and new it cost about as much as a Wira or perhaps a Waja. Without any airbag I presume.
