that motor I believe is bigger than bigfoot # 1's. I think they bored a 460 to a 502 and damn. I wanna get an aggresive cam and a 460 for my bronco so I could shift it in 4wheel and burn the FUCK outta all 4's! HAHAHA!!!!

nice truck. i gotta 79 ford 460 .30 over with a five speed making about 400hp but thinking about getting a stroker kit. were did u get the kit.and when u put the kit on did ur motor have power or was it stock?

Seems like you got a manual, the engine is based off a 385? What is the transmission, what brand makes them, what about the bell housing? I am tired of my C6 auto tranny, gotta go for a manual, cant seem to find one for these motor. Help be appreciated. That a lovely sounding motor you got there.

Our motors Sound pretty close, I like it, I also blew my transmission up after putting the new stroker motor in, funny how a new motor will find the weak link.

how come you have the shift light set only at 3,000? Thats 1/2 of what it could be at.

haha, i noticed that after the video was posted. Tach shift light was just set there to verify my nitrous window switch activates at 3000. I shift at 7000 if i'm really laying into it !

i have a 79 f150 with a 572 you should look at some of my vids but i love your truck how does that 9' hold up? im running a dana 60 bored to a dana 70 and cro moly shafts and mine still breaks?

I'll check ur vids out. 9 is holding up so far, I have a soft stall, nodular center with solid spacer and spool. L&L ladder bars. dont' think i have enough traction to break much in the rear. The four wheel burn off at the starting line is a fun torque steer ride though......

Filter doesn't fit. Hood has a big hole in it and will get a 429 BOSS mustang style scoop soon. Nice notice on the tach light. I use it to check the low setting of my window switch for nitrous. I put a normal sized shift light up on the dash as the summit tach shift light is about the diameter of a #2 pencil

comp cams xtreme solid roller XR298. it would be 8000rpm peak in a 460 displacement.
