  • this made me think of Spiderman a little haha crawlin on walls n stuff

  • For some reason, as amazing as this movie is... I'm still so bored when i watch it. I guess the concept still doesn't appeal to me.

  • joseph gordon levitt is the only child actor that grew up extremely hottt

  • Anyone know the track that plays through this scene? it's my favorite of the movie.

  • Hans. Zimmer.

  • how the FUCK does anyone DISlike this scene? What kind of soulless, dead loser do you have to be to not only be bored or disappointed or whatever with this scene, but to go so far as to express that displeasure by clicking the dislike button? Seriously, this is movie fucking magic. You'd have to be a really sad, pathetic person to not like this scene.

  • seriously??? this lost to twilight!? what a fucked up world we live in

  • FUCKING MASTERPIECE

  • I want to have intercourse with the soundtrack.

  • this scene is so epic

  • "Did you see that?"

    *zzzzzzzzzzzzz*

    INCEPTION

  • THIS lost to twilight?

  • Comment removed

  • 0:09 He SOO looks like Heath Ledger!

  • I want this video on my E60 phone.

  • awesome scene and movie but I am curious why they didn't start floating around in the snow dream. They could still feel shockwaves from the 'kick' but never lost gravity at this part.

  • So wouldn't that flip have cause a "kick" thus waking up everyone?

  • @Nickthemonkey163 shhhhhhhhh

  • @Nickthemonkey163 he doesn't start the music yet...

  • the best scene in the movie

  • I just came here after watching how this was all done, hard as hell.

  • Your video went viral on Roseau

  • watched the making of this scene, craaazy stuff xD looks amazing though

  • Call of Duty MW3 copy this in the airplane mission.

  • LOL love at the end where he laughs

  • its like a redefined moment between freddy krueger and his victims :D

  • Try to top that,Michael Bay XD

  • so howcome the snowy mountain landscape didn't rotate too?

  • @ilikethislife123 It's further down, the levels feel less of an effect the further down you go.

  • the zero gravity part was in the air time of them falling in the bridge

  • is there a name to the song in this scene?

  • @Metal4Truth Dont think about elephants is the name of it I think

  • That guy was driving a car.

    IN A CAR!!!

  • driver : hahaha did u see that

    passengers:zzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

    driver : oo *looks away*

me :XD what a loser lolz

  • @showlegacy619 weak ass joke is weak.

  • There is a huge confusion between gravity and inertia on this scene. Inertia is any body's opposition to a change in it's motion, for example. That's why we move forward when the bus brakes suddenly. The bus movement changes but our inertia denies that change, propelling us forward until we oppose that motion with equal force (grab onto something). Since time lapses between the levels, the inertial free-fall is enhanced, creating the illusion of zero-gravity. In fact, they're free falling.

  • Only Christopher Nolan can not only make an epic car chase but make a fight scene and a car chase roll into one!

  • Haters gonna rotate :D

  • if you pause it right away it looks like Agent 47 in a room full of dead people lol

  • "Did you see that?"

    *zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz*

    LMAO. Yusof is awesome.

  • This was quite possibly the single greatest theatrical experience of my life. And while in the theater, I could tell many others felt the same way. I swear, a movie this good only comes around once every 10 or so years. Last time I felt this way, was Donnie Darko.

  • The music in this movie is incredible

  • @deadlywizard234 It is... people joke about how repetitive it is, but it's repetitive because it's so good!

  • great scene :)

  • JGL YOU BEAST!

  • South Park shows how stupid this movie is.

  • @24ozheineken South Park portrays every one as stupid.

  • @24ozheineken Imdb ratings show how stupid you and South Park are.

  • @24ozheineken This movie shows how stupid South Park is.

  • Blows my mind every time

  • hi. what soundtrack is being played at this part?!

  • Best fight scene ever.

  • 2:32.... "Heh! You see that?"

  • i need to go watch inception again....

  • what's the name of that OST?

  • @Morty361 must be: "Don't think about elephants

  • It is unfathomable that ANYONE could dislike this clip

  • @Torrentialrx

8 people without even a half of a functioning brain cell proved your comment wrong. :)

  • btw /watch?v=ZB0PyyLNIV4&feature=related is how they did this shot

    very interesting

  • GREAT SCENE but now that i think about it

all the other group that are sleeping will bounce as well

meaning they should feel this changing gravity as well

but there is no recollection of this in their world....

  • @TheBarbahaba I thought the same thing. Like all that flipping around and upside down, there should have been a kick in there somewhere to wake everyone up. Mission failed! Still awesome despite the holes.

  • @sarfboy the idea was that they don't need just ONE kick, they need a simultaneous kick on all levels to be woken up, just like what happens in the end. So that's why the car rolling wouldn't wake them up.

  • @TheBarbahaba but Arthur is the only one dreaming within the truck driver's dream, so he's the only one affected by it. The others are in dreams that are within Arthur's dream, so there's less of an effect, if that makes sense.

  • @52hello25 hmmm maybe ,,,,,i need to rewatch the movie lol

but u'r right they will less feel it since time travels more slowly in the dream with in a dream

  • One of the best fight scenes of all time, hands down.

  • Best movie I ever seen in!!!! I freakin love this movie!

  • watch?v=KRfc7NYyuWU

inception is how I got a date to prom...

  • technically there's still gravity, it's just all over the place lol, not zero g

  • @Searcheur there is another scene with out gravity

  • you should probably rename the video, cause this isnt the zero gravity fight scene, its a rotating corridor

  • Undeniably one of the coolest scenes ever

  • MrInceptionFanatic, the embedding is disabled - can you please fix that?

  • no cgi = awesomeness

  • Twilight blows cock, dick, ball and vagina.Best Fight my ass.

  • That SCENE WAS BADAZZ O_O

  • I HATE twilight for stealing awards wich would be actually for other movies. All those fan girlies and their Twilight. Thez ruined for me the Mtv movie Awards! I loved watching them, but no! I was damn disappointed .... it's emberassing for Mtv!

  • for that reason arthur was the point man

  • watching this movies stoned was orgasmic

  • josph gordon-levitt is awesome!!

  • Good thing Arthur isn't outside during this scene ...

  • Arthur was the real hero in the movie. Total bad ass.

  • @HurricaneAndrew1988 I agree, Arthur and Eames were the ones that pulled off this heist. Heck, even Ariadne did her fair share in handling Leo and his fractured psyche.

  • Meanwhile, in Fred Astaire's hotel room...

  • It seems amusing to me that the car in the "real world" Looked to be done with CG and yet the hotel was a real set.. go fig eh?

  • I rotated my computer watching this :D

  • @majafaja999 your wrong actually. That happens with an Asian guy lulz

  • this scene proves that you should never have an INDIAN driver at wheel when you're dreaming...otherwise you start fighting in rotating halls an shit

  • not such a big surprise, but this is the most impressive fight scene I've ever seen in cinema.

  • So proud of Christopher Nolan... British Genius...

  • :20 joseph is about to get his hands dirty.

  • I'm trying to re-create this scene in Little Big Planet 2 but IT IS SO DAMN HARD

  • This is not the zero gravity fight scene. This is the rotating hallway fight scene that only looks as good as it does, BECAUSE there is gravity.

  • 2:23 ouch rugburn

  • @cristianmartez it's called "Don't Think About Elephants" by Hans Zimmer

    It's a bonus track.

  • one of my fav parts of the movie.

  • .....hehe, did you see that....>.>....nvm

  • what's the name of that piece playing during the scene?

  • F***K any CGI fight scene ever made! This scene is better than ANY of them

  • @Earthen80 yeah, i think that the fact that none of this was cgi makes it so much better, and that jgl did all his own stunts.

  • I had such a stupid smile on my face in the theater when I saw this, just from sheer amazement.

  • @stphn227 my mouth was ajar the whole time I was watching. The scene is this brilliant.

  • What is the name of the song that plays when they are fighting?

  • Yusuf - "Did you see that?"

    ---Silence (everybody sleeping)-----

    LMAO

  • Anyone thinking what's happening to the other guys crash out in Room#528?

  • the black guy WOULD get supermanned. lol

  • i don't really catch it... their inner ears are sensible to the "kick" as they explained it earlier in the movie, however they stay asleep as the guy turns over the van...

  • Lol... If the van landed upside down, Arthur would be lugging people past ceiling lights and Yusuf would end up just getting out and pushing the car. XD

  • Any other director might make a scene where a van is rolling pretty nicely. BUT when it is a Christopher Nolan film, the van roll is amazing, and the people in the van are actually in a dream and feeling the effects of the shifting gravitation in that dream. See... how is Christopher Nolan that genious that he can make an ordinary scene fell that much more extraordinary. He takes the simple things of our life and twists them up a little.

  • 2:31-2:40 is the best part. 'Nuff said.

  • @avramnovorra

    Agree, it's hilarious. :D

  • wow! Months of planning and building put into a 3 minute scene! Still amazing

  • Is it to late to cast the new spiderman movie? joseph should be the new spiderman. hey get rid of the new guy and make this guy spiderman this scene is so cool I never get tired of watching it.

  • this is not zero gravity fight scene, this is a rotating hallway fight scene

  • If you said "Hey Jiraiya1969,let's go see a movie", and the only thing I knew was that Christopher Nolan directed it, I would go in a heartbeat. One of my most favorite filmmakers

  • This scene reminds me of the matrix haha they kinda enter another world also but there not savign the earth there planting and stealing ideas Inception

  • is it mean or is he smiling when hes sleeping and also to tell u thre truth wen he walked out that door i throught he was gonna betray them haha but hes super smart he went to that elevater since it became zero gravity

  • zero gravity scene my ass. fucking moron. every single scene in this movie kicks ass though.

  • lol its pretty dumb how the guy on the motorcycle doesnt just shoot the tires...

  • @100miledash The shooting guys are only mind projections, so I guess they just attack the target with no strategy, like dumb robots.

  • What is the motorcycle guy shooting with in the beginning? a pistol?

  • Does anybody know what track dis is from the inception soundtrack???!!!!

  • @thebasketballgrl Search up, "Don't Think About Elephants" it's a bonus track.

  • I pity humanity if Twilight is winning for best fight instead of this awesomely mind-blowing fight.

  • @sridharakella1995 twilight lose oh yeah

  • Lol i love this videos description

  • Twilight beating this for best fight scene blows my mind more than the fact that the set was actually rotating in the fight scene.

  • @VetFashionGirl Its because little teenage girls and boys have given WAY too much attention to the stupid ass twilight movies... NONE of the people in the twilight movies can act like any of the actors in this movie or any other that was nominated... personally I think it was depressing to watch the awards...

  • @IMDaJudgeAswell Yeah, I was pretty mad. But it's the MTV Movie Awards so what do you except? Lol

  • @IMDaJudgeAswell Amen amen amen!!! Preach on!!! you are so right, that is why I don't watch those award shows anymore it was nothing but a twilight fest, and when I read that this brillant scene lost to twilight I said the show had to be run by 13 year old girls. i hate those twilight movies. This scene will live on film history josph rock in this scene he should have won a oscar just for this scene.

  • @leaiplussize I honestly could not have said it better myself.

  • Man this is just Awesome. Favorite scene

  • when they first flip i love how arthur's feet and arms go up because he looks like he's smiling :)

  • @SiindaaayBayBay He does! I thought he was about to laugh!

  • @SiindaaayBayBay yeah he looks like a puppet or something jajaja

  • Props to JGL, but the black stuntman in this fight isn't getting the credit he deserves. Anyone know who this guy is credited as in the movie?

  • This scene looks like it was fun to do...imo

  • This clip is misnamed: the scene is not of a zero gravity fight..that comes later. The fight scene is where the vehicle tumbles and makes the dreamer experience the shifts as the world tumbling..but there is still a sense of weight

  • I love the way Nolan does his films... They're so realistic, intense and gritty.

  • If a gravity shift affects a dream in a dream then why doesn't it affect a dream in a dream within a dream?

  • @frickinxtreme

    Good question.

  • @frickinxtreme I think it's because as you go deeper, there is less and less bleed into the levels. That's why the music in the hotel level was very clear but in the snow level it sounded like an echo.

  • @frickinxtreme yeah, the gravity shift should have also affected the snow level, but there's no footage of that so I guess it's a plot mistake.

  • This should totally win best fight for the MTV movie awards.

  • oh man i love this scene so effing cool

  • SLASH DOT DASH DOT SLASH DOT DASH DOT SLASH DOT DASH DOT SLASH DOT COM

  • This is not zero gravity.. the gravity is shifting.

  • Closely listen to an Inception dvd made before the Janaury 8th Tucson shooting, especially during the dialogue, "Do It."

  • Excuse me, gotta go drop some bitxhes, WITHOUT GRAVITY.

  • ok the only problem with this epicly bonerific epic scene is the time ratio. judging by the time it takes for the van to hit the water, 10 seconds on the first dream level (where Yusuf is) roughly equals between 5 and 10 minutes on the second level (where arthur is). but before the van even flips, Yusuf drives for a good 20 to 30 seconds. arthur only fights the projections for about 20 to 30 seconds also. and the time speeds up for arthur as the van is flipping too. but still, very very epic.

  • @MrTsquared88

of course the time speeds up. there's no need for the on screen footage time to match the narrated time. the fight could have taken a lot of minutes and we re only shown portions of it.

  • @wilde77 eh. i suppose youre right. but i think they would have shown it. but i realized this: when the dreamer starts to realize he's dreaming, time speeds up in the dream. so because of the rapid gravity changes in this scene, it would make sense that the dreamer would start to wake up just enough so the time would speed up on the second level.

  • @MrTsquared88

even if the gravity shifts are strange Dom has to point em out to Fischer to make him realize he's in a dream, so even if something weird like this happens, I don't think that's enough to make the dreamer realize he's inside a dream .And even when Fischer is kinda convinced he's inside a dream he doesn't wake up and they proceed to level 3.

  • @wilde77 yeah no im not saying that it would wake him up, but it would put him in like not as deep of a sleep. so time would speed up at little bit in the second dream level. it would speed up just enough so that this scene works.

  • this reminds me of the Fred Astaire scene

  • 4 people were projections.

  • People who haven't seen Inception yet are probably watching this video all confused and thinking "What's a rolling van got to do with a hotel fight?" and those who have seen this film are thinking "This is so awesome!"

  • The other thing that is cool about this scene is that JGL did all of that instead of having a stunt double do it.

  • I love how people keep calling this the zero gravity scene, when there is clearly gravity, it's just shifting. The zero gravity scene when they're floating in zero gravity... FLOATING.

  • I would love to play in the rotating hallway!

  • My favorite scene! :D

  • this scene's so awesome!!

they're lucky the van landed the right way up, else everything would been outta whack xD

  • @ImiiNotOkay25 I think they planned that part because the van thing was already inside a dream.

  • My favorite scene in inception.

  • This is one of the best scenes in cinematic history. It is too short though

  • This and the four lions should have got waaay more awards than they did

  • 1:45 - nigga wanna be like spiderman
