@EternalRift I think Asylum sounded kind of like Believe because a few if the songs were softer. but you're right, their sound is identical but really different at the same time.

I think it would probably be alot better if Draiman used his own vocal style, instead of trying to be like LJ. You can tell its not what he usually does. But yes, without a doubt LJ and Draiman are two of the best vocalists, in my opinion.

I have saw both bands live several times and Lajon is by far the best live singer as David struggles to hit his high notes and sometimes sings off tune.
You're just bias. You probably meant to say deep tones instead high right? Even though David's voice is not as deed as Lajon's, he's a superb singer who's able to control his voice greatly, so he can song both soft and heavy songs.
He can also sing very fast. Try Down With The Sickness, Sons of Plunder or Liberate
And you should definitely check out Darkness which is completely acoustic.
And one more thing: things that you've just said have nothing to do with a quality of a singer.
You can't fight your own vocal range, but you can try to perfect it. Besides, one more fact remains is that black males usually have deeper voice than white males.

lol i dont like ppl fuckin up with covering other bands being competition trying to make something sound better, thats just shit... I actually like this version just as much as sevendusts, i like both bands fuckin lot. This is just their way to respect sevendust, and you should respect that too if you respect either band at all...

I think it would probably be alot better if Draiman used his own vocal style, instead of trying to be like LJ. You can tell its not what he usually does. But yes, without a doubt LJ and Draiman are two of the best vocalists, in my opinion.

who's better is only a matter of opinion, not how many record sales they have you douche bag. sales only factor in how accessible the music is to the masses. personally, I like Sevendust more.. but then again, I've been listening to them since they were called Crawlspace.. quite longer than Disturbed has been around. and I'm not discrediting Disturbed either, cause I think they're one of the best bands to come around in a while.. and as awesome as David Draiman is as a singer, he cant touch LJ

I don't mean to sound racist, but the song doesn't carry the same feeling when a white person sings it. When Disturbed sings the song, it just sounds like a pissed off white teenager not getting his own way. When Sevendust sings the song, they actually sound like what the song's about: being a black person who has to live with both racist white people and backwards assed hoodrats talking him down. This song is more black than any saggy pantsed ass bullshit about sizzurp. Fuck rap music.

@zackomac Agreed. And I'm not trying to knock Disturbed. I actually like them a lot. I was just trying to say record sales are meaningless measuring sticks of an artists talent. Especially modern day. I do think this is a bad cover though, the music is good, but Draiman doesn't stick to his talents and tries to emulate LJ or something. Just doesn't work out.

The guys in Sevendust have more talent in their pinky fingers than Brittany Spears has in her entire body, but they'll never sell that many records. Neither will Disturbed probably. And yeah his voice is a little off in this song, but I enjoy the cover all together.

You're just bias. You probably meant to say deep tones instead high right? Even though David's voice is not as deed as Lajon's, he's a superb singer who's able to control his voice greatly, so he can song both soft and heavy songs.
He can also sing very fast. Try Down With The Sickness, Sons of Plunder or Liberate
And you should definitely check out Darkness which is completely acoustic.
And one more thing: things that you've just said have nothing to do with a quality of a singer.
