  • so your saying that u suck my cock? wtf is your problem

  • atheist people suck dumbass cock!

  • I'm sure you have some good qualities somewhere. It's not nice to call yourself a dumbass.

  • (continue...) understands. This eight years old probably doesnt know half of the blabb she is saying. A very smart one she is, of course, to be able to memorize all of this and let it out with (exagerated, but...) intensity (and drama, but well, it WAS in Oprah, right?). I really dont see where the mother is to blame in this whole picture. My dad is atheist and so am I, but my mother and my sisters arent. People choose their own way, when they can actually understand. Let the boy enjoy his time.

  • My only point with my video of my son was that this is what your average normal (without expination) reaction of a kid, would actually be confusion. I agree, we as parents teach our children our values. However, since there is no rule book on Atheism, there's not really one particular way an Atheist would raise their child/ren. We give our children the building blocks for skepticism. We teach them about the different types of belief while trying to maintain objectivity.

  • He's actually seven now and I was thinking about doing a follow up video. He has developed more of an opinion since then.

  • I really dont see nothing wrong here. I mean, the kid is five, for starters. When your mother or father are christians, you are raised as one. When your parents are buddhists, you are raised as one. Surely when your parents are atheists, you will be raised out of the religions' relations but that you can change with time. I think is so stupid for people to overeact about children's relationship with this matter. If they feel connected to it, they will get themselves engaged when they actually

  • So many people commit crimes like rape, murder, molestation, genocide, infanticide, siblicide, etc, and yet your god is no where to be found. Blame it on the illusory free will if you must, but either way your god is guilty. With free will it's neglect. With the Divine Plan (Chronological Malevolent Design) he's guilty, directly, on a scale so massive it boggles the imagination! Take your pick!

  • What's strange is that you use words like "venom", and yet can't seem to see how evil (Malevolent Design) that makes your god, if he were to exist. Think about it. Look at the vemous box jellyfish. How many people does this tiny, translucent animal kill with it's harpoon-like nematocysts? Why would a loving god create such a thing? Keep in mind this is one of billions of examples I could bring up.

  • I have no need of a therapist. You, on the other hand, talk to demonstrably imaginary friends -- and you might even think they talk back. That sounds like mental illness to me. I say you might need some good medication to make the voices go away.

  • Christ never existed. He's nothing more than plagiarized astrotheology -- stolen from the Egyptians, amongst others. I'm sure of it. Therefore, I never knew the guy, and neither did (do) you. What you *think* is a real magical being is nothing more than an imaginary friend. It explains why your Christ does nothing while little boys are raped time and again, doesn't it?

  • Well, that would be your first problem. You are blind to the flaws in your own personality. Don't worry, it's a very common problem. You're certainly not alone. But what about myself? I have flaws and I celebrate them. I'm an asshole. I know this. But that's who I am. I'm also a very nice guy. I have a great sense of humor and have been recommended for stand up and sitcoms more than a couple of times. I don't define myself with just one word, obviously.

  • You're accusing me of subjecting my child to content that isn't proper for his age. That is the "offense" that I and the woman I replied to would be "guilty" of. Of course, this is according to your opinion, not mine and I'm pretty sure not hers either. Speaking of "picking" a fight, who came on here judging me ("belittling") because my name is "Atheist" mommy? I'm defending myself is my right. Don't start something you can't finish. Deny all you want, you're transparent.

  • Indeed, all of his claims are true, both historically and statistically. Christianity is a very ugly religion and is the biggest threat to the US. It seeks to replace valid science with ridiculous mythology, restrict the rights (and incite hatred) of gays and lesbians simply for who they are, etc. The hypocrisy is amazing. Gluttony is a deadly sin, but that's never mentioned. Why? 70% of christians are fat gluttons! Let's restrict their rights and incite hatred towards them, shall we?

  • Yes, I have a bone to pick with Christians. What group has been the leader in child molesting? The Christians! What group has spilled more blood than any other over who's god was the "one true"? The Christians! What group is unceasingly anti-science, anti-gay rights, anti-separation of church and state and anti-feminist? The Christians! Sure, this is not all of them, and it might even be the minority in some cases, but it is the side that forces itself on me and my loved ones.

  • Ok, wait... You reply to him but you have yet to answer my question? Are you going to go to the Christian mother, whom I am replying to with this video, and tell her how horrible this content is for her children, just like you told me?! Seems fair doesn't it? I just wonder why you choose to belittle me and not her when we are guilty of the same offense?

  • Oh, silly ignorant believer, I was once like you. I don't know what hope your kind have? That's funny, because I'm an ex-Christian. I know all too well the kind of "hope" that is sold in your establishments! It's of the same variety sold in back alleys, pubs and dens. No thanks, I'm clean now.

The venom you see is but a reflection of your own. I'm merely giving back what you gave to me. If you don't like my response, perhaps you should check your own attitude.

  • You think because we're an Atheist family we're afraid to say words like "god"? It's just a word. So is "goddess", "deity" and "religion". Part of being an Atheist parent is educating your kids about the fallacies of all religion. How could we possibly do this if we avoided all religious language? And why would we? All that avoidance and ignorance is something the religious do, not us. We're about free speech and free expression.

  • My children know just about every "bad" word there is and many of the combinations, but you know what? They know that it's not considered by our society to be polite to say them and so they don't. That's a lot better than trying to keep your kids ignorant. To keep your kids in the dark is just bad parenting.

  • You know what's funny? The Christians who show their children the holy snuff film, "The Passion (more like "The Cash-in") of The Christ" and then have a probelm with children listening to "naughty" words! What the fuck? Where are your priorities? They're just words. You know, sounds you form with your lips, teeth, tongue, vocal cords and lungs?

  • What a beautiful, honest kid.

  • That's my boy! Thanks. :)

  • "Innocence" as in ignorance? I expose my children to the real world and define reality from fiction. I could say the same thing about you, seeing as how you've obviously chosen the opposite road. You've obviously judged me by my name. Did you say this same thing to the "christian" mother who recorded her two boys watching this same video (more than once)? The video I'm replying to with this one? And in fact, this video doesn't have anything to do with religion. It's about psychology.

  • Huh? What exactly do you mean? The boy in this video is my son. The video he's watching has a little girl in it. I'm pretty sure he knew this video wasn't about him.

  • this kid owns

  • LOL "I didnt think of anything" This is so what any normal kid's reaction would be. The other kids may not have been scripted but that doesn't mean they aren't repeating what their mom/dad said when watching the video. Your kid seems like an awesome little dude :) Tell him he rocks my socks!

  • Oh, he knows it. He's six now and wow how they change in such little time. I'm about to upload a few more videos of him. His name, btw, is Epicurus. The boy lives up to his namesake. : ) I'm very proud of him.

  • Very intelligent (and adorable) boy you have!

  • haha, he is so much more true than the other kids response one.

  • This video is wayyy better than the other one. Your child's mind is pure. He's gonna be a good kid. :]

  • Ahahah! I don't think of anything! Priceless. What a cute kid. I don't see how the other video that was made could prove any point when children of those ages don't really grasp whats he was even saying. You proved your point well. =)

  • Hmm. I wonder what the two kids who got all jumpy and started to say its assassination of the world have for an IQ.

  • Your son does indeed seem to be someone who is normal and settled and he didn't understand much of the 8yo's video which never was intended for 5-8yo's anyway. Them two kids in the other video response where it's written that it's non-scripted do not seem that intelligent at all and they repeat things as if someone told them to do it. They also say it's edited to shorten it, yet their comments in the edited version last for several minutes. Crazy stuff. Thanks for this vid tho.

  • Priceless. Eloquent. His facial expressions are worth thousands of words. Thanks for this video.

  • Thank you very much. Yeah, he's the love of my life. Children are more concerned with having fun and making their parents happy, as it should be. They shouldn't have to stress about things like this.

  • He seems like a good, normal, kid.

  • Yeah, because usually children raised by atheists are wild and violent children...

  • LOL! Yeah, I'm sure that's what some people think.

  • He might not have known what to say about it but the point is this kid needed more time. (Hence, why the first response from a young child after you demand 'What are you doing?' is a long pause) You should have told him you want to know what he thinks about it after watching it and to let you know when he's ready. They need time to process the information and ask questions. Good try, seems like a cool kid :)

  • He eventually had more to say about it but his focus was on the things he knew. Like the fact that she said "ass." And like the video I responded to, his only concerns were the things he knew (back talking, bad words, her attitude and so on). I could ask him again but I think you'll just get more of the, "Mommy, why did she say "ass?!"" comments. Thank you, he's a good boy.

  • Why, thank you.

  • I like how neat she kept her house.

  • Thank you for raising your kid realisticlly.

  • : ) Thank you, he's a very creative kid. Smart and creative and it gets him in all kinds of trouble at school.

  • His expressions were adorable :D

  • Exactly BKBlackDragon!

  • That's the point, 8 years old watching that video don't think of anything because they don't understand, and that prove that the previous kids had been told what to say, and it's so stupid they edited the video by saying there was no script and the kids weren't beeing told what to say.

One thing is make a child say something to express a point (the girl), but reply to that video with bullshit is pathetic, so don't claim they reacted naturally, that's retarded and very shameful mr/ms olleec

  • What point were you trying to make?

  • Well, done. I love that you can see his facial expressions. He didn't have to say a word....his face said it all. Thanks for backing up my points.

  • LOL, You had no point(s) whatsoever.

  • Just take a good look at the expressions on his face. This little boy knows more about evolution than most adults (especially his pre-school teacher). He didn't understand why she was cusing. He said, "Mommy, she said "ass."" He has no idea who Bill is and he thinks that GWB is the guy from the video of "Gay bar." At the end of this video I ask him what he thinks and he says, "I don't think of anything." That's about the time my video camera ran out of power. This is totally nonscripted.
