Two great tastes that taste great together... NTHT is one of those forgotten epics of anime, often overlooked but near and dear to those who've experienced it. You might have been able to find a better song, but it would have been a long and difficult search, and you would have wound up with something really obscure. An excellent video in every respect.

I always could remember far more then other people but I remembered just about everything - what I didn't remember would come back as I watched the preceding scenes - so you know it was good!) and this song works perfectly! Even the images match up perfectly with each line!
It's about a boy who meets a mysterious girl, and gets sent to the future while trying to protect her. The sun has become a red giant, making water scarce, and the mysterious girl he met has an ability to produce water. Generally, the anime is about using children for war, though, and the selfish actions of adults. It really is good.
This is one of my top 3 animes of all time and it's one of a rare few of animes to make me cry during the last episode. So many people you grow to love suddenly die.
